She arrives to the club from KFUM Jarfalla Stockholm. Edlund appeared 21 times for them in Damligan last season averaging 12.1 points and 4.5 rebounds. Before KFUM Jarfalla, the forward spent few years with 08 Stockholm, but she missed 2010/11. In the past, Malin Edlund played for Swedish youth National Teams. Six year ago she won the bronze medal with U18 NT at U18 EuroBasket in Tenefire. She was one of the best Swedish U20 players in 2008 at U20 EuroBasket Division B in Poznan. Edlund collected 9.3 ppg and 5.7 rpg for 7 games at this event. MBK Ruzomberok reached Extraliga Finals last season, but lost it to Good Angels (0-3).

MBK Ruzomberok have appointed Juraj Suja as the teams new head coach. He replaces Stefan Svitek on the bridge. Juraj Suja worked with SBK Samorin lately. Previously he guided MBK Rieker Komarno in Extraliga. He led Samorin to the Extraliga semifinals in 2012. [read more]
