Montenegro capped their brilliant 2013 EuroBasket Qualifying Round campaign with another victory. They stunned Slovak Republic at home court to remain undefeated at 10-0 record on top of Group A. Bojan Dubljevic (205-PF-91, agency: Beo Basket) posted 25 points and 12 rebounds to lead the hosts. Slovak Republic who played without their charismatic leader Anton Gavel suffered the ninth loss.
Montenegro jumped to an early lead. They held their opponents to just 6 points to take a 21-point lead. Montenegro maintained a comfortable lead throughout the second frame. They accumulated a 44:20 halftime advantage. Montenegro kept Slovak Republic at bay throughout the third term. They arrived at the final intermission up by 28 points and coasted to the victory in the fourth stanza. Vladimir Dasic (208-PF-88, agency: Beo Basket) had 13 points and 9 rebounds, while Sead Sehovic (196-G/F-89) netted 12 points for the winners. Dusan Pandula (197-SF-84) responded with 11 points for Slovak Republic. Tomas Mrvis (200-SF-91) had 8 points in the loss.

Well I finally made it back to Europe again safe and sound and getting ready to prepare for another tough season. Even though I was with a different team the past two seasons, my goals for this year are the same. Handlova signs Bennett just out of college - 3 days ago

MBK Handlova (SBL) signed 22-year old American forward Brian Bennett (206-131kg-94). He just graduated from Cal Poly - San Luis Obispo (NCAA). Bennett has played there for the last four years. In 29 games he had 8.8ppg and 4.0rpg last season. As mentioned above he is just out of the college and it will be his first season as a pro. Evan Singletary agreed terms with Iskra Svit - 3 days ago

BK Iskra Svit (SBL) inked 22-year old American point guard Evan Singletary (185-88kg-94). He just graduated from Albany (NCAA). In 33 games he recorded 12.9ppg, 3.6rpg, 2.9apg and 1.2spg last season. Singletary helped them to end the regular season as a second best team in American East Conference.
