#1. This week's number one is former international center Marie Ruzickova (189-86, agency: LBM Management, currently plays in Italy). She led Lucca to a victory over the league outsider Priolo (0-3) 72-55 in the Italian A1 in Sunday night's game.
Ruzickova was MVP of the game. She had a double-double by scoring 21 points and getting 10 rebounds. Ruzickova also added and 5 steals in 39 minutes on the court.
Gesam Gas Le Mura Lucca (2-1) is placed third in the A1.
But this is still an early stage of the season and everything may happen.
Ruzickova belongs to league's top scorers (ranked #8) and also on the list of best rebounders (fifth place).
She has individually a very good year with high stats. Ruzickova averages: 16.3ppg, 10.0rpg, 1.3apg, 2.7spg, 2FGP: 52.3% and FT: 33.3% in the three games she played so far.
She played for the Slovakian senior national team four years ago.
#2. Second place goes to an international forward Erin Marie Lawless (185-85, also represented by LBM Management, college: Purdue, currently plays in Eurocup). Lawless contributed to an easy victory against the closely-ranked Botas (0-1) 79-64 in the Eurocup last Thursday.
She recorded 8 points. It was his first game for Dynamo Kursk this season.
It was the game of the round between two top 4 ranked teams. Her team is placed first in the Eurocup.
There are only three games left until the end of the Eurocup Regular Season. So now every game will be critical.
Lawless is a naturalized American.
She played for the Slovakian national team in 2011.
Lawless used to play for BK 99 PU Presov in Slovakian league.
#3. The Slovakian player who performed third best last week abroad was an international point guard Darina Misurova (163-81, currently plays in Czech Republic). She contributed to a 2-point Sokol Hradec Kralove's victory against the league outsider BK Pliska Studanka (0-8) 68-66 in the Czech Republic ZBL on Saturday night.
Misurova scored 15 points and had 3 steals in 33 minutes.
Sokol VCP Hradec Kralove (7-1) is placed second in the ZBL.
It was her team's seventh consecutive victory in a row.
It's Misurova's first season with the team.
Misurova belongs to league's top scorers and is ranked #9 with 15.3ppg.
This year her other stats are: 3.3rpg, 1.9apg, 1.5spg, 2FGP: 55.8%(24-43), 3FGP: 43.8% and FT: 91.7% in the eight games.
Misurova played for the Slovakian national team one years ago.
#4. Center Anna Jurcenkova (195-85, currently plays in Czech Republic), who plays in the Czech Republic ZBL could not help IMOS Brno (6-2) in their last game on Saturday. Despite her good performance IMOS Brno was crushed 85-62 on the road by the lower-ranked VSE Praha (#6).
Jurcenkova scored 12 points, grabbed 4 rebounds and made 2 blocks.
Jurcenkova is ranked second on the list of the best blockers in the league.
Her overall stats this season are: 10.0ppg, 6.0rpg, 1.1bpg and 1.1spg.
Jurcenkova is also Slovakian national team player.
#5. International forward Adriana Gresnerova (180-86, currently plays in France) was the major contributor in a LTB 29's victory against the 11th-ranked CFBB (0-4) 65-53 in the French LF2 (12th division) last Sunday.
She recorded 12 points, 4 rebounds, 5 assists and 6 steals in 28 minutes.
Leon Tregor B 29 (4-1) is placed third in the LF2.
But the season just started, so everything may happen.
Gresnerova has relatively good stats this year: 10.3ppg, 6.0rpg and 2.0spg in the three games.

#6. Forward Barbora Fabianova (182-82, another player represented by LBM Management, college: Youngstown St., currently plays in Italy) was not able to help Cagliari CUS (1-1) in their game against Lucca (4-2) in the Italian A1.
Fabianova scored 5 points.
Cagliari CUS was defeated 69-62 on the opponent's court by the higher-ranked Lucca (#4).
But the season is still in it's first stage and everything can happen.
This season Fabianova averages only 5.5ppg.
She is a former international player as she played for the Slovakian senior team four years ago.
#7. International center Klaudia Lukacovicova (193-90, currently plays in Italy) was not able to secure a victory for CA Romagna (0-3) in their game against Umbertide (3-0) in the Italian A1, despite her very good performance in Sunday night's game.
Lukacovicova was the top scorer with 14 points. She also added 4 rebounds in 29 minutes.
But CA Romagna was badly defeated 68-51 on the opponent's court by the leading Umbertide.
So far CA Romagna lost all three games in the Regular Season.
But there are still lots of games to play and it's a long way to go.
This year Lukacovicova's overall stats are: 8.7ppg and 4.3rpg in the three games.
She is also Slovakian national team player.
#8. Guard Michaela Abelova (183-85, currently plays in Germany) couldn't help SV Halle Lions (3-2) in their game against Eisvogel Freiburg (1-2) in the German DBBL.
Abelova scored 6 points.
SV Halle Lions was edged 61-60 in Freiburg by the one of league's weakest teams Eisvogel (#11).
They ended the series of three consecutive victories.
Abelova is one of the most experienced players in a team as it's her fourth year in SV Halle Lions' roster.
This season she averages only 9.6ppg.

#9. University international point guard Diana Benuskova (170-89, currently plays in Czech Republic) couldn't help Aldast Strakonice (1-7) in their game against VS Praha (5-3) in the Czech Republic ZBL.
She scored only 4 points and grabbed 4 rebounds in 27 minutes.
Aldast Strakonice was crushed 76-53 in Praha by the higher-ranked (#5) VS Praha.
It was Aldast Strakonice's third consecutive loss in a row.
This year Benuskova's total stats are: 5.8ppg, 3.0rpg and 1.6apg in the eight games.

#10. Point guard Dagmar Chlebovcova (172-84, currently plays in Czech Republic) faced previously mentioned Anna Jurcenkova in the Czech Republic ZBL last game.
Chlebovcova managed to help BLK VSE Praha to win against the closely-ranked IMOS Brno (6-2) crushing them 85-62.
She scored only 2 points.
Chlebovcova has averaged so far 6.4ppg, 2.1rpg and 1.1spg.
She is international player as one years ago she still played for the Slovakian senior national team.

Libicova was not able to help Aldast Strakonice (1-7) in their game against VS Praha (5-3).
She scored 5 points and grabbed 4 rebounds.
Aldast Strakonice was crushed 76-53 in Praha by the higher-ranked VS Praha (#5).
This season Libicova has relatively solid stats: 11.3ppg, 5.6rpg and 1.1spg.
#3. Experienced Agnesa Szaboova (179-G/F-75, currently plays in Luxembourg), who plays in the Luxembourg Diekirch League was not able to secure a victory for Basket Esch (1-4) in their last game. Despite Szaboova's very good performance Basket Esch lost 85-89 at home to the second-ranked Sparta.
She was the second best scorer with 20 points. Szaboova also added 6 boards, dished 4 assists and stole 5 balls in 27 minutes.
Szaboova belongs to league's best passers and is ranked #7 with 3.0apg.
She also averaged so far 12.8ppg, 5.0rpg and 1.3spg in the four games.

Cestistica Spezzina La Spezia (Serie A2) agreed terms with 23-year old American guard Brittany Hrynko (173-93, college: De Paul, agency: LBM Management). She played last season at Good Angels in Slovakian Extraliga. In 6 games she had 8.5ppg, 1.8rpg, 1.0apg and 1.3spg. Hrynko also played for Hapoel Petah Tikva (D1) in Israeli league that season. Cestistica Spezzina La Spezia (Serie A2) agreed terms with 23-year old American guard Brittany Hrynko (173-93, college: De Paul, agency: LBM Management). She played last season at Good Angels in Slovakian Extraliga. In 6 games she had 8.5ppg, 1.8rpg, 1.0apg and 1.3spg. Hrynko also played for Hapoel Petah Tikva (D1) in Israeli league that season. In 19 games she recorded very impressive stats: 17.4ppg, 4.9rpg, 4.7apg and 1.8spg. The previous (2015) summer she played at San Antonio Silver Stars in WNBA. But in 5 games she recorded just 0.4ppg in 2015 season. The other team Hrynko played shortly was Atlanta in WNBA. Last year she was drafted by Connecticut Sun (WNBA) in second round (19th overall). Hrynko attended De Paul until 2015 and it will be her second season in pro basketball. The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others her college team won Big East Tournament for two years in a row (2014 and 2015). Hrynko was also voted All-Big East Player of the Year and All-Big East 1st Team in 2013, 2014 and 2015. She has played also professionally for other WNBA teams like Dallas Wings and Atlanta Dream.
