On Thursday they were in Israel playing against Elitzur Ramla in EuroCup. The day after - just two hours after their arrival from abroad - they faced Ostrava in Slovakia. Despite the exhausting journey and short time for recovering, Ruzomberok entered the game in a great style and took control over their rival with the first minutes of the match. The 79-point-difference in scoring is self-explanatory. Ostrava belongs among the weakest teams in Slovak Extraliga and even tired Ruzomberok had no major difficulties crushing their opponents. Veronika Cernakova enjoyed the game with 26 points, Kadidja Andersson added another 22. For Ostrava only Minarovicova and Pustejovska got into double digits.
BK Petrzalka - Piestanske Cajky 81:86 (23:24, 15:30, 28:10, 15:22) Petrzalka:Terezia Palenikova 24, Lucia Kulova 17, Julia Pazicka 15 Piestanske Cajky:Dymond Simon 22, Lucia Krc-Turbova 19, Maria Felixova 12 Petrzalka delivered another admirable performance. The hosts had fought hard against Spisska Nova Ves previous round but fell behind in the final minutes. This time the situation was quite similar. Petrzalka lost the first quarter just by a point but then Piestanske Cajky moved up a gear and outscored their rivals 30:15. After the break Petrzalka fought their way back into position to win. In the final quarter Piestanske Cajky showed more experiences and secured the victory. The hosts could count again on Terezia Palenikova who netted 24 points. Piestanske Cajky had on their team Dymond Simon with 22 points and Lucia Krc-Turbova who added 19 points.
BKZ Levice - SKBD Rucon Spisska Nova Ves 64:98 (13:21, 11:33, 14:26, 26:18) Levice:Andrea Belanska 23, Paula Kubusova 15, Zuzana Stevove 11 Spisska Nova Ves:Regina Palusna 19, Romana Stehlikova 16, Zuzana Babarikova 15 Although Andrea Belanska is 38 years old, she is still able to lead Levice and be one of the best players on the court. Against Spisska Nova Ves she finished with 23 points and became the best scorer of the match. Despite her great performance, Levice didn't have enough quality on their side to came out with a win. Spisska Nova Ves stayed focused and ran for a victory. The guests controlled the game and could even afford to give their best players some spare minutes and lose in final quarter by eight points.
BK SOUZ Cassovia Kosice - Good Angels Kosice 38:98 (4:20, 10:30, 14:19, 10:29) Cassovia:Beata Janoscikova 10, Katarina Timkova 7, Andrea Kulcsarova 7 Good Angels:Helena Sverrisdottir 18, Tijana Krivacevic 16, Allie Quigley 11 After tenth round Good Angels still stay unbeaten in the league. A winner of the local derby between the two Kosice's team could have been easy to guess. Cassovia is considerable weaker than Good Angels and their only goal was to fight hard and lose with a dignity. But Good Angels crushed their opponents by 60 points. Only Beata Janoscikova got into double digits delivering 10 points for Cassovia. On the other hand, Good Angels could count on each player in the game.

Cestistica Spezzina La Spezia (Serie A2) agreed terms with 23-year old American guard Brittany Hrynko (173-93, college: De Paul, agency: LBM Management). She played last season at Good Angels in Slovakian Extraliga. In 6 games she had 8.5ppg, 1.8rpg, 1.0apg and 1.3spg. Hrynko also played for Hapoel Petah Tikva (D1) in Israeli league that season. But in 5 games she recorded just 0.4ppg in 2015 season. The other team Hrynko played shortly was Atlanta in WNBA. Last year she was drafted by Connecticut Sun (WNBA) in second round (19th overall). Hrynko attended De Paul until 2015 and it will be her second season in pro basketball. The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others her college team won Big East Tournament for two years in a row (2014 and 2015). Hrynko was also voted All-Big East Player of the Year and All-Big East 1st Team in 2013, 2014 and 2015. She has played also professionally for other WNBA teams like Dallas Wings and Atlanta Dream.
