The squad of SKP Banska Bystricaa is changing after they appointment of Ivan Kurilla as their coach. First Richard Grznar (189-PG-91) signed to Astrum Levice and now they made changes also in their squad. They released Igor Salamun (186-PG-85). Salamun has comed to SKP Banska Bystrica from Jolly Jadranska Banka Sibenik. He started in 8 games with an average of 7.4 ppg, 2.6 rpg and 2.0 apg. After the release of Salamun they signed two players. Stjepan Gavran (206-C-78) was this year on try-out in SKP Banska Bystrica, but they released him and now they signed him again. And the second newcomer is Brockeith Pane (188-PG-88, college: Utah St.). Pane was released on monday by his former club Astrum Levice, but he was not without a club for a long time. Pane has started in Astrum Levice in both leagues, together he participated in 14 games where he averaged 10.6 ppg, 2.5 rpg and 3.1 apg. SKP Banska Bystricaa will play their next game in Komarno, so this will be their first test with the new players.

Sweden - Slovakia 86-82 Sweden locked up FIBA Basketball World Cup 2019 European Qualifiers berth as they held off Slovakia 86-82 to claim the top position in Group A. Viktor Gaddefors (201-SF-92, agency: Interperformances) posted 17 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists for the hosts. Sweden sank 27 points in the second quarter to take a 44:39 halftime lead. Brandon Holcomb (ex Fondi Oasi) agreed terms with MBK Zilina - 6 days ago
Newly promoted MBK ZU Zilina (SBL) strengthened their roster with addition of 24-year old American center Brandon Holcomb (201-98kg-93, college: Radford). He played most recently at Fondi Oasi in Italian Serie C Gold. In 21 games he recorded 13.6ppg and 1.8apg last season. Ryan Martin (ex Le Havre) joins Prievidza - 9 days ago
BC Prievidza (SBL) agreed terms with 26-year old British-Jamaican forward Ryan Martin (206-102kg-91, college: Tenn Tech). He played last season at STB Le Havre in French ProB. In 21 games he had 6.4ppg and 3.6rpg. Martin also played that season for Provence Basket (also in ProB) where in 16 games he recorded 4.1ppg and 3.3rpg.
