Host teams show no mercy winning all games.

The most surprising game was a loss of top-ranked Komarno (13-3) on the court of fifth ranked Prievidza on Wednesday night. Visitors were defeated by Prievidza 77-69. It ended at the same time the six-game winning streak of Komarno. The hosts trailed by 1 point after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 3-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 77-69. It was a great evening for American forward Joseph Harris (196-87, college: Co.Carolina) who led his team to a victory scoring 26 points and 9 rebounds. International guard Milan Ziak (190-88) helped adding 25 points (on 11-of-14 shooting from the field). At the losing side American forward Kevin Thompson (205-89, college: Morgan St.) responded with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 11 rebounds. Defending champion maintains fifth place with 8-8 record. Komarno at the other side still keeps top position with three games lost. Prievidza are looking forward to face bottom-ranked Svit (#9) on the road in the next round. Komarno will play against Nova Ves (#3) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
