The game between Top Four teams took place in Nova Ves. 4th ranked host Nova Ves (11-9) lost to third ranked Levice (12-6) 87-76. The guests trailed by 3 points after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 2-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 87-76. Levice outrebounded Nova Ves 39-28 including 26 on the defensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Americans were the main players on the court. Guard Brandon Fields (193-88, college: Nevada) scored 21 points and 7 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and forward Jeremy Simmons (204-89, college: Charleston, agency: Interperformances) chipped in 15 points and 6 rebounds during the contest. At the losing side point guard Maurice Acker (178-87, college: Marquette) responded with 19 points and 4 assists. Levice moved-up to second place. Nova Ves lost third consecutive game. They keep the fourth position with nine games lost. Levice are looking forward to face Prievidza (#5) on the road in the next round. Nova Ves will play against Nitra in Nitra and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

American forward Kevin Thompson (205-89, college: Morgan St.) notched a double-double by scoring 16 points and 11 rebounds to lead the effort and Chris Lowe supported him with 15 points and 6 assists. Even 18 points and 5 rebounds by Bahamas guard J.R. Cadot (195-87, college: TCU) did not help to save the game for Nitra. Nitra's coach Lubomir Urban rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Komarno maintains first position with 15-4 record. Nitra at the other side dropped to the third place with eight games lost. Komarno will play against SKP Banska Bystrica (#7) on the road in the next round where they are favorite. Nitra will play against Nova Ves (#4) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
The game in Bratislava was also quite interesting. Fifth ranked Prievidza (10-9) played at the court of 6th ranked Inter Bratislava (9-11). Prievidza defeated Inter Bratislava 90-75 on Wednesday. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Inter Bratislava. Barkley Falkner fired a double-double by scoring 16 points and 10 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) for the winners. Martin Rancik produced 22 points and 6 rebounds for lost side. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Defending champion maintains fifth position with 10-9 record. Loser Inter Bratislava keeps the sixth place with 11 games lost. Prievidza will meet at home league's second-placed Levice in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Inter Bratislava will play against Handlova (#8) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

In the last game of round 22 bottom-ranked Svit lost to Handlova on the opponent's court 84-96.
The most impressive stats of the last round was 26 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists by Roman Vido of Handlova.

The hosts were already 12 points ahead after 3 quarters before a 20-17 Nitra's run in the last quarter cut the lead to 76-67 at the end of the game. American forward Kevin Thompson (205-89, college: Morgan St.) notched a double-double by scoring 16 points and 11 rebounds to lead the effort and the other American import point guard Chris Lowe (182-87, college: Massachusetts, agency: KMG Sports Management) supported him with 15 points and 6 assists. The game between closely ranked teams ended with 9th ranked Svit's (4-17) road loss to eighth ranked Handlova (6-12) 84-96 on Wednesday. The game was mostly controlled by Handlova. Svit managed to win second period 24-22. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Handlova forced 23 Svit turnovers. Strangely Svit outrebounded Handlova 37-22 including 23 on the defensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. International Roman Vido (204-88) fired 26 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. American guard Kevin Bridgewaters (175-84, college: Chattanooga, agency: TSS Management) chipped in 22 points and 9 assists. American center Tyronne McNeal (211-87, college: Miami Dade CC) produced 21 points and 7 rebounds (made all of his seven free throws) and his fellow American import forward Kenneth Henderson (201-82, college: Texas Arlington) added 15 points and 9 rebounds respectively for lost side. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Handlova maintains eighth position with 6-12 record. Loser Svit stay at the bottom place with 17 games lost. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded Inter Bratislava 41-20 including a 27-15 advantage in defensive rebounds. American power forward Barkley Falkner (203-86, college: Sam Houston St.) fired a double-double by scoring 16 points and 10 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) for the winners. International Michal Batka (204-87) chipped in 17 points and 7 rebounds. Serbian Guard Stefan Matovic (203-G-91) had an amazing evening in the last round for top-ranked Kosice, receiving a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 26. The 25-year old player had a double-double of 21 points and 11 rebounds, while his team beat Iskra Svit (#6, 12-12) 94-79. It allowed Kosice to consolidate first place in the Slovakian SBL. 26-year old guard Andre Jones (191-G-90) had a very impressive game in the last round for Prievidza and receives a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 25. He had the game-high 25 points adding five rebounds and four assists for Prievidza in his team's victory, helping them to beat Nova Ves (#10, 3-20) 90-75.
