Here is the weekly review of the top performing Slovakian players, who play currently abroad.

   #1. This week's number one is former international center Marie Ruzickova (189-86, agency: LBM Management, currently plays in Italy). She led Lucca to an easy victory against the seventh-ranked C.U.S. Chieti (4-9) crushing them 94-48 in the Italian A1 in Sunday night's game. Ruzickova had a double-double by scoring 12 points and getting the same number of rebounds. She also added and 5 steals in 29 minutes on the court. Gesam Gas Le Mura Lucca (10-3) is placed second in the A1. It was her team's third consecutive victory in a row. Ruzickova has relatively good stats this year: 11.9ppg, 8.1rpg, 2.5spg, 2FGP: 46.1% and FT: 66.7% in the 14 games she played so far. She played for the Slovakian senior national team five years ago.

   #2. Second place goes to U20 international center Zofia Hruscakova (190-95, currently plays in Hungary). Hruscakova contributed to an easy victory against the eighth-ranked DKSK (1-3) crushing them 81-59 in the Hungarian A Division last Sunday. She recorded 6 points and grabbed 7 rebounds. It was his first game for Good Angels this season. Her team is placed first in MEL group. So far her team won all eight games in the Second Stage. Hruscakova is in the roster of the Slovakian U20 national team.

   #3. The Slovakian player who performed third best last week abroad was an international center Anna Jurcenkova (195-85, currently plays in Euroleague), who plays in Czech Republic. She could not help IMOS Brno (2-9) to beat Tarsus Bld (3-8). Jurcenkova recorded only 4 points and grabbed 11 rebounds in 25 minutes. The seventh-placed IMOS Brno lost 72-81 on the road to the higher-ranked (#6) Tarsus Bld in the group A of Euroleague. It was IMOS Brno's fourth consecutive loss in a row. Her team will play only one more game in the Euroleague Regular Season. And that game will be critical. This year Jurcenkova averages: 6.0ppg, 4.1rpg, 2FGP: 43.9% and FT: 53.3% in the 11 games. She is also a member of the Slovakian senior national team.

   #4. Forward Lucia Krc-Turbova (185-89, currently plays in Hungary), who plays in the Hungarian A Division was not able to help Piestanske Cajky (2-2) in their last game on Saturday. Despite Krc-Turbova's good performance Piestanske Cajky (#5) was crushed 79-43 in Sopron by the second-ranked MKB Euroleasing in the MEL group. She was the second best scorer with 13 points. Krc-Turbova also added 6 rebounds and dished 3 assists. It's Krc-Turbova's first season with the team. Her overall stats this year are: 6.0ppg and 4.1rpg. Krc-Turbova used to play for the Slovakian U20 national team back in 2009.

U20 international swingman Marta Palenikova (184-92, currently plays in Hungary) is a teammate of previously mentioned Lucia Krc-Turbova and both played together in the last Hungarian A Division game. Palenikova, who plays in the Hungarian A Division was not able to secure a victory for Piestanske Cajky (2-2) in their last game. Despite her very good performance Piestanske Cajky (#5) was crushed 79-43 in Sopron by the second-ranked MKB Euroleasing in the MEL group. Palenikova was the top scorer with 16 points in 34 minutes. This year Palenikova's overall stats are: 6.0ppg and 4.1rpg in the 11 games. She plays currently for the Slovakian U20 national team.

   #6. Forward Lucia Kupcikova (184-84, currently plays in Hungary) is a teammate of previously mentioned Zofia Hruscakova and both played together in the last Hungarian A Division game. Kupcikova managed to help Good Angels Kosice to win against the eighth-ranked DKSK (1-3) crushing them 81-59. She recorded only 3 points. It was his first game for Good Angels this season. Kupcikova has been at the team for four years. Kupcikova is an international player who is currently on the senior Slovakian National Team roster.

   #7. U20 international point guard Barbora Balintova (176-94, currently plays in Hungary) is a teammate of previously mentioned Zofia Hruscakova. She played also in the last Hungarian A Division game facing Lucia Kupcikova (above) in the other team. Balintova contributed to an easy victory against the eighth-ranked DKSK (1-3) crushing them 81-59. She recorded only 2 points in 8 minutes on the court. It was his first game for Good Angels this season. Balintova is also Slovakian U20 national team player.

Forward Barbora Fabianova (182-82, also represented by LBM Management, college: Youngstown St., currently plays in Italy) was the major contributor in a Cagliari CUS's victory against the closely-ranked Pall.Pozzuoli (3-10) 78-60 in the Italian A1 last Sunday. She recorded 17 points. C.U.S. Cagliari (2-11) is placed second from the bottom (#10) in the A1. They ended the series of twelve consecutive loses. Fabianova's total stats this season are: 5.7ppg and 1.6rpg. She used to play for the Slovakian national team back in 2008.

Former international forward Adriana Gresnerova (180-86, currently plays in France) couldn't help one of league's weakest teams LTB 29 (12-4) in their game against Angers (12-4) in the French LF2 (12th division). Gresnerova recorded 9 points and grabbed 7 rebounds in 29 minutes. But LTB 29 lost 50-64 at home to the higher-ranked (#3) Angers. This year Gresnerova's total stats are: 9.5ppg, 4.3rpg, 1.6apg and 1.3spg in the 12 games. She used to play for the Slovakian national team two years ago.

   #10. Center Maria Felixova (191-90, currently plays in Hungary) is a teammate of previously mentioned Lucia Krc-Turbova. She played also in the last Hungarian A Division game facing Marta Palenikova (above) in the other team. Felixova couldn't help Piestanske Cajky (2-2) in their game against MKB Euroleasing (8-0). She cannot count Saturday's game as one of the best ones. Felixova scored only 2 points and grabbed 8 rebounds in 24 minutes. Piestanske Cajky (#5) was crushed 79-43 in Sopron by the second-ranked MKB Euroleasing in the MEL group. This year Felixova has relatively solid stats: 10.5ppg, 2.7rpg and 1.4apg in the 20 games. She is a former university international player as two years ago she still played for the Slovakian national team.

   #11. Former University international center Michaela Zentkova (189-89, currently plays in Hungary) is a teammate of previously mentioned Lucia Krc-Turbova. She played also in the last Hungarian A Division game facing Maria Felixova (above) in the other team. Zentkova couldn't help Piestanske Cajky in their game against MKB Euroleasing. She cannot count Saturday's game as one of the best ones. Zentkova scored only 3 points and grabbed 6 rebounds. Her team was crushed by 36 points 79-43. Zentkova has reliable stats this season: 10.5ppg, 2.7rpg and 1.4apg. She used to play for the Slovakian university national team two years ago.

   #12. Former international swingman Andrea Oravcova (182-87, agency: Regeneracom Sports, currently plays in Spain) couldn't help Cadi ICG Software in their game against Rivas Ecopolis in the Spanish LFB. She scored only 4 points. Her team was badly defeated by 17 points 68-51. Oravcova has averaged so far 5.1ppg and 1.8rpg. She used to play for the Slovakian national team back in 2011.

   #13. Former international point guard Dagmar Chlebovcova (172-84, currently plays in Czech Republic) contributed to an easy victory against the ninth-ranked Basket Slovanka MB 86-69 in the Czech Republic ZBL on Sunday night. Chlebovcova scored only 4 points in 32 minutes. Chlebovcova has averaged so far 5.0ppg, 1.9rpg and 1.1apg in the 21 games. She used to play for the Slovakian national team two years ago.

   #14. U20 international point guard Petra Bartanusova (173-92, currently plays in Hungary) is a teammate of previously mentioned Lucia Krc-Turbova. She played also in the last Hungarian A Division game facing Michaela Zentkova (above) in the other team. Bartanusova couldn't help Piestanske Cajky in their game against MKB Euroleasing. She cannot count Saturday's game as one of the best ones. Bartanusova scored only 2 points. Her team was crushed by 36 points 79-43. Bartanusova has averaged so far 5.0ppg, 1.9rpg and 1.1apg. She plays currently for the Slovakian U20 national team.

   #15. U18 international point guard Nikola Dudasova (169-95, currently plays in Hungary) is a teammate of previously mentioned Lucia Krc-Turbova. She played also in the last Hungarian A Division game facing Petra Bartanusova (above) in the other team. Dudasova couldn't help Piestanske Cajky in their game against MKB Euroleasing. She cannot count Saturday's game as one of the best ones. Dudasova scored only 2 points in 16 minutes. Her team was crushed by 36 points 79-43. Dudasova has averaged so far 5.0ppg, 1.9rpg and 1.1apg in the 21 games. She is also in the roster of the Slovakian U18 national team.

Experienced Zuzana Mracnova (180-F-80, currently plays in Czech Republic) led Aldast Strakonice to a victory against the third-ranked Sokol Hradec Kralove (17-4) 75-73 in the Czech Republic ZBL in Saturday night's game. Mracnova scored 11 points. BK Czech coal Aldast Strakonice (6-15) is placed tenth in the ZBL. It was her team's first victory after three consecutive loses. They will play only one more game in the Regular Season. And that game will be critical. This season Mracnova has relatively solid stats: 10.5ppg, 2.7rpg and 1.4apg.

   #2. Zuzana Pilatova (160-PG-89, currently plays in Hungary), who plays in the Hungarian A Division could not help Piestanske Cajky (2-2) to beat MKB Euroleasing (8-0). Pilatova cannot count Saturday's game as one of the best ones. She scored only 3 points and had 4 steals in 6 minutes on the court. Piestanske Cajky (#5) was crushed 79-43 on the road by the second-ranked MKB Euroleasing in the MEL group. Pilatova averaged so far 10.5ppg, 2.7rpg and 1.4apg in the 20 games she played so far.

CAB Madeira (Liga Feminina) added to their roster 33-year old Slovakian ex-international forward Simona Podesvova (186-83). She played last season at Avenir in French LF2 league. In 21 games she recorded 9.8ppg, 10.8rpg (leader !!!), 2.0apg and 1.9spg. Flying Foxes land coach Stanislav Onuska, ex Samorin - 13 days ago

Flying Foxes Post SV Wien (ASWBL) landed Slovakian coach Stanislav Onuska. He coached most recently at SBK Samorin in Slovakian Extraliga. Among other achievements Onuska coached in the final of Slovakian Extraliga in 2008, 2009, 2011, 2012 and 2013. He has coached also professionally in Slovakia for MBK Ruzomberok. Samorin signs Cooper just out of college - 15 days ago

SBK Samorin (Extraliga) agreed terms with 22-year old American center Keke Cooper (188-94). She just graduated from Appalachian State University (NCAA). Cooper has played there for the last four years. In 5 games she had 5.8ppg, 5.8rpg, 1.4spg and 1.2bpg last season.
