The teams have now bigger motivation at this stage of Regular Season. Every game can be crucial and decide about teams' position at the end of Regular Season.

The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of Komarno (19-6) at the home court on Monday night. Hosts were defeated by Levice (19-6) 83-76. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Komarno. It was a key game for the top position in the league as both teams had the same 18-6 record before this meeting. The guests trailed by 3 points after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 3-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 83-76. 24 personal fouls committed by Komarno helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Americans were the main players on the court. Guard Brandon Fields (193-88, college: Nevada) stepped up and scored 26 points and 4 assists for the winners and point guard Willie Kemp (188-87, college: Memphis) chipped in 16 points and 4 assists. Levice's coach used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Forward Kevin Thompson (205-89, college: Morgan St.) responded with 8 points and 12 rebounds. Levice have an impressive series of nine victories in a row. They keep a position of league leader, which they share with defeated Komarno. Levice is looking forward to face Nova Ves (#4) at home in the next round. Komarno will play against Nitra in Nitra and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
9th ranked Handlova (6-19) was outscored at home by seventh ranked SKP Banska Bystrica (11-15) with the biggest margin this round 106-73. American point guard Enique Clemons (180-80, college: Missouri) nailed 18 points for the winning side and Mirza Ahmetbasic accounted for 13 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. The former international center Milan Golian (206-74) came up with 13 points and 9 rebounds for Handlova in the defeat. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. SKP Banska Bystrica maintains seventh place with 11-15 record. Handlova lost their seventh game in a row. They stay at the bottom position with 19 games lost. SKP Banska Bystrica will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Handlova will play on the road against Svit (#8) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

In the last two games of round 29 Prievidza lost to Nova Ves on the opponent's court 76-90. Inter Bratislava managed to outperform Svit in a home game 83-72.
The most impressive stats of the last round was 30 points and 5 rebounds by Alando Tucker of Inter Bratislava.

Nova Ves - Prievidza 90-76

Rather expected game when 6th ranked Prievidza (11-14) was defeated on the road by fourth ranked Nova Ves (14-12) 90-76. The game without a history. Nova Ves led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Americans were the main players on the court also this time. Power forward Dwight Burke (202-86, college: Marquette) nailed 23 points and 6 rebounds for the winning side and point guard Maurice Acker (178-87, college: Marquette) accounted for 19 points and 9 assists. Burke is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Forward Joseph Harris (196-87, college: Co.Carolina) came up with 17 points and 8 rebounds and guard Willie Powers (187-89, college: Georgia South) added 15 points and 5 rebounds respectively for Prievidza in the defeat. Five Nova Ves and four Prievidza players scored in double figures. Prievidza's coach Raul Jimenez rotated ten players and allowed the starting five to rest. Nova Ves maintains fourth place with 14-12 record. Prievidza lost their third game in a row. Defending champion keeps the sixth position with 14 games lost. Nova Ves will play against league's leader Levice on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Prievidza will play against Inter Bratislava (#5) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

Rather predictable result when fifth ranked Inter Bratislava (13-14) defeated at home 8th ranked Svit (7-20) 83-72. Inter Bratislava made 19-of-23 charity shots (82.6 percent) during the game. Inter Bratislava outrebounded Svit 34-19 including a 23-11 advantage in defensive rebounds. American forward Alando Tucker (198-84, college: Wisconsin, agency: Priority Sports) nailed 30 points and 5 rebounds (was perfect 7-for-7 from the free throw line) for the winning side and the former international center Peter Sedmak (207-85) accounted for 16 points and 6 rebounds (perfect from the field making all six shots). American center Tyronne McNeal (211-87, college: Miami Dade CC) came up with 18 points and the other American import guard Ravone George (193-83, college: Alabama) added 18 points and 6 steals respectively for Svit in the defeat. BK 04 AC LB Spisska Nova Ves (SBL) signed Canadian forward Matt Marshall (198-98kg, college: Brock). It is actually his comeback to Nova Ves as he has played here before. Marshall played last season at Niagara River Lions in Canadian NBL. But in three NBL Canada games he had just 0.7ppg. Marshall also played that season for BK 04 AC LB Spisska Nova Ves where in 26 SBL games he recorded 7.3ppg, 6.6rpg and 1.4apg. BC Prievidza (SBL) strengthened their roster with addition of 23-year old American forward Chris Perry (203-113kg-94). He just graduated from Lincoln Memorial (NCAA2). In 28 games he recorded very impressive stats: 17.7ppg, 8.4rpg and 1.3bpg last season. Perry helped them to make it to the final and they also made it to the NCAA D2 Final Four.
