Brandon
Fields
American guard Brandon Fields (193-G-88) had a great game in the last round for top-ranked Levice, receiving a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 29.
The 24-year old player was the main contributor (26 points, three rebounds and four assists) to his team's victory, helping them to beat Komarno (19-6) 83-76. The game was between two of the league's top four teams. It allowed Levice to take over top position in the Slovakian Extraliga. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Levice has a very solid 19-6 record, but they cannot be too comfortable about keeping top position. Fields turned to be Levice's top player in his first season with the team. Brandon Fields averages this season 18.5ppg.

The second best player in last round's games was 28-year old American Alando Tucker (198-F-84, agency: Priority Sports) of Inter Bratislava. Tucker had a very good evening with 30 points, 5 rebounds and 2 assists. Of course Inter Bratislava cruised to a 83-72 relatively comfortable win over the lower-ranked Svit (#8, 7-20). Inter Bratislava's 5th position in the standings has not changed. His team is not often considered as one of the league's best with a mere 13-14 record. Tucker is one of the most experienced players at Inter Bratislava and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players.

Third on the list of top players last round was American guard Enique Clemons (180-PG-80) of B.Bystrica (#7). Clemons scored 18 points. He was a key player of B.Bystrica, leading his team to a 106-73 easy win against slightly lower-ranked Handlova (#9, 6-19). The chances of B.Bystrica ranking at the top of the league, however are very questionable as they have already lost 15 games, recording just eleven victories. With bigger assistance of his teammates, Clemons could help B.Bystrica to bring them higher in the standings. Clemons has a very solid season. In 7 games in Slovakia he scored 11.7ppg. He also has 5.9apg and and 3PT: 41.7%.

Other top performing players last week:
4. Noah Dahlman (199-F-89) of B.Bystrica - 11 points, 7 rebounds and 2 assists
5. Justin Graham (193-G-88) of Inter Bratislava - 7 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists
6. Maurice Acker (178-PG-87) of Nova Ves - 19 points and 9 assists
7. N'Gai Evans (188-PG-88) of Nova Ves - 11 points, 4 rebounds and 5 assists
8. Kevin Thompson (205-F-89) of Komarno - 8 points and 12 rebounds
9. James Hughes (211-C-83) of B.Bystrica - 14 points and 6 rebounds
10. Dwight Burke (202-C/F-86) of Nova Ves - 23 points and 6 rebounds

The Player of the week is choosen based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3*(REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4*(2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3*(2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3*(3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
