The Regular Season in Extraliga is slowly approaching the end. But there may be still some important changes in the final standings in the last 5 rounds.

The most exciting game of round 30 in the Extraliga took place in Prievidza. This derby game ended with only three-point home defeat of 6th ranked Prievidza (11-15) to fifth ranked Inter Bratislava (14-14) 93-90 in the game for the fifth place. Inter Bratislava have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain fifth position with 14-14 record. Prievidza lost fourth consecutive game. Defending champion keeps the sixth place with 15 games lost. They share the position with B.Bystrica. Inter Bratislava are looking forward to face bottom-ranked Handlova (#9) on the road in the next round. Prievidza will play against the league's leader Levice and is hoping to prove to their fans that they can break losing series.
An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Levice. First ranked Levice faced 4th ranked Nova Ves. Host Levice (20-6) defeated guests from Nova Ves (14-13) 76-60. It was a good game for Slovenian center Salih Nuhanovic (208-82) who led his team to a victory with 17 points and 8 rebounds (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field). Brandon Fields contributed with 10 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. American power forward Dwight Burke (202-86, college: Marquette) replied with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 14 rebounds for Nova Ves. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Levice have an impressive ten-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 20-6 record. Nova Ves at the other side keep the fourth place with 13 games lost. Levice will play against Prievidza (#6) at home in the next round where they are favorite. Nova Ves will play against Nitra in Nitra and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Nitra. Third ranked Nitra faced second-best Komarno. Host Nitra (17-10) defeated guests from Komarno (19-7) 111-98. Nitra maintains third position with 17-10 record having just two points less than leader Levice. Loser Komarno keeps the second place with seven games lost. Nitra will meet Nova Ves (#4) on the road in the next round. Komarno will play against SKP Banska Bystrica and hope to secure a win.
The game with biggest result difference took place in Svit. Local Svit (8-20) outscored 9th ranked Handlova (6-20) 100-78. Tyronne McNeal notched a double-double by scoring 27 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists to lead the effort.
