Kevin
Bridgewaters
28-year old point guard Kevin Bridgewaters (179-PG-84) put on an amazing game in the last round for Handlova and receives a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 32.
He had the game-high 40 points adding four rebounds and five assists for Handlova in his team's victory, helping them to edge out Prievidza (#7, 11-17) 73-71. Handlova maintains the 9th position in Slovakian league. Too late to salvage the team, which is currently ranked at the very bottom. They already lost 21 games and recorded just seven victories. In the team's last game Bridgewaters had a remarkable 63.6% from 2-point range and got four three-pointers out of 9 attempts. He turned to be Handlova's top player in his first season with the team. Kevin Bridgewaters averages this season 21.8ppg and 6.2apg.

Second best performed player last round was Sven Smajlagic (193-G-90) of B.Bystrica. He is Croatian guard in his first season at B.Bystrica. In the last game Smajlagic recorded impressive double-double of 25 points and 10 rebounds. Of course B.Bystrica cruised to a 84-74 relatively comfortable win over slightly higher-ranked Nova Ves (#5, 15-14). This victory allowed B.Bystrica to move up to 6th position in the standings. His team is not often considered as one of the league's best with a mere 12-16 record. Smajlagic is a newcomer at B.Bystrica and quickly became one of team's most reliable players.

Third place about best performers goes to forward Amin Stevens (198-F-90) of league's second-best Komarno. Stevens scored 26 points and grabbed nine rebounds. Despite Stevens' great performance Komarno lost 86-97 to the lower-ranked Svit (#8, 9-20). But his team cannot count on just a single shooter as he also needs help of the other teammates. The last thing Komarno needs is to lose another game like this one. They lose more and more distance to the top teams. Their record is 20 victories and 8 lost games. Stevens has a very solid season. In 18 games in Slovakia he scored 12.8ppg. He also has 6.6rpg and FGP: 55.5%.

Other top performing players last week:
4. Salih Nuhanovic (208-C-82) of Levice - 21 points and 11 rebounds
5. Kevin Thompson (205-F-89) of Komarno - 25 points and 9 rebounds
6. Wesley Channels (190-G-88) of Svit - 14 points, 4 rebounds and 14 assists
7. Peter Dorazil (199-F/C-89) of B.Bystrica - 10 points, 11 rebounds and 2 assists
8. David Noel (199-G/F-84) of Nitra - 16 points and 11 rebounds
9. Horace Bond (203-F-88) of Svit - 14 points, 10 rebounds and 2 assists
10. Aco Mandic (204-C/F-84) of Nova Ves - 18 points, 9 rebounds and 2 assists

The Player of the week is chosen based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)

25-year old swingman Milic Blagojevic (200-G/F-91) had a great game in the last round for Lucenec and receives a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 34. He had the game-high 30 points adding nine rebounds for Lucenec in his team's victory, helping them to beat Nova Ves (#10, 6-25) 77-72. Lucenec maintains the 8th position in Slovakian league. The most important game in the last round took place in MBK Handlova between third ranked Prievidza (20-10) and seventh ranked Handlova (15-16) on Wednesday night.
