Serbian Milan Milovanovic (205-F/C-91, agency: 011 Sports) put on an amazing game in the last round for Prievidza and that's him to receive a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 27.
The 25-year old power forward had a double-double of 19 points and ten rebounds, while his team outclassed Nitra (#11, 2-22) with 42-point margin 107-65. Prievidza is placed at 3rd position in Slovakian SBL. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Prievidza will need more victories to improve their 17-6 record. It was one of impressive evenings for Milovanovic as usually he does not deliver so high stats. Milan Milovanovic averages this season 9.6ppg.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was young guard Marek Dolezaj (195-G-98) of Karlovka. Dolezaj impressed basketball fans with 25 points, 8 rebounds and 2 assists. Of course Karlovka cruised to a 92-82 relatively comfortable win over slightly higher-ranked Lucenec (#8, 10-13). Karlovka's 9th position in the standings has not changed. 17 lost games are too many comparing to just seven victories Karlovka managed to get this year. Dolezaj is a newcomer at Karlovka and it seems he did not have too much trouble to become one of team's leaders.

The third best performed player last round was former international center Michal Batka (204-C-87) of top-ranked Kosice. Batka scored 22 points. He was a key player of Kosice, leading his team to a 97-91 win against the lower-ranked Nova Ves (#10, 4-21). Kosice confirms their top position in the standings. Batka has a great season in Slovakia. After 25 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in rebounds with 6.5rpg (9th best). He also has 1.4bpg and FGP: 70.8%.

Other top performing players last week:
4. Aaron Rountree III (203-F-93) of Lucenec - 19 points and 10 rebounds
5. Viktor Juricek (211-F-93) of Nova Ves - 23 points and 10 rebounds
6. Evan Singletary (185-PG-94) of Iskra Svit - 26 points, 2 rebounds and 5 assists
7. Milan Ziak (190-G-88) of Kosice - 19 points, 2 rebounds and 3 assists
8. Aleksandar Vlahovic (190-G-90) of Inter Bratislava - 17 points and 12 assists
9. Boris Bojanovsky (217-C-93) of Rieker KN - 13 points and 12 rebounds
10. Andre Jones (191-G-90) of Prievidza - 17 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists

The Player of the week is chosen based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
