The most important game in the last round took place in MBK Handlova between third ranked Prievidza (20-10) and seventh ranked Handlova (15-16) on Wednesday night. Prievidza was defeated by Handlova in a tough game on the road 67-75. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international point guard Nenad Milosevic (190-83, agency: 011 Sports) who helped to win the game recording 18 points and 5 assists (made all of his eight free throws). The former international power forward Peter Sedmak (207-85, agency: 011 Sports) contributed with 17 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Croatian forward Igor Maric (196-85) replied with a double-double by scoring 11 points and 10 rebounds for Prievidza. Newly promoted Handlova maintains seventh position with 15-16 record.
