Reggie Keely
American Reggie Keely (202-F/C-91, agency: Mansfield and Associates) had a very impressive game in the last round for Levice and that's him to receive a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 40.
The 25-year old power forward had the game-high 19 points adding eight rebounds and three assists for Levice in his team's victory, helping them to edge out Karlovka (#9, 9-27) 76-74. Levice maintains the 4th position in Slovakian SBL. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Levice will need more victories to improve their 24-12 record. Keely turned to be Levice's top player in his first season with the team. Ohio University graduate has very impressive stats this year. Keely is in league's top in rebounds (8th best: 6.5rpg) and averages solid 60.1% FGP.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was 22-year old American point guard Evan Singletary (185-PG-94) of Iskra Svit. Singletary impressed basketball fans with 21 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists. Of course Iskra Svit cruised to a 90-78 relatively comfortable win over the lower-ranked Nova Ves (#10, 8-29). Iskra Svit's 6th position in the standings has not changed. His team lost some distance to top teams. But 20-17 record is not bad and everything may still change. Singletary is a newcomer at Iskra Svit and it seems he did not have too much trouble to become one of team's leaders. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 17.3ppg (#4). He also recorded 4.0 assists per game.

The third best performed player last round was American Andre Jones (191-G-90) of Prievidza (#3). Jones scored 24 points. He was a key player of Prievidza, leading his team to a 100-70 easy win against the lower-ranked Lucenec (#7, 17-19). Prievidza needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams. Their record at this point is 25 victories and 11 lost games. Jones has a great season in Slovakia. After 36 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 16.8ppg (7th best).

Other top performing players last week:
4. Phil Henry (203-PF-91) of Nova Ves - 22 points and 12 rebounds
5. Sinisa Bilic (201-F-89) of Rieker KN - 24 points, 9 rebounds and 2 assists
6. Stefan Matovic (203-G-91) of Kosice - 17 points, 5 rebounds and 2 assists
7. Josh Nofflet (194-G/F-88) of Levice - 17 points and 9 rebounds
8. Jervon Pressley (203-F/C-95) of Lucenec - 19 points and 11 rebounds
9. Jarvis Summers (190-G-93) of Levice - 14 points, 7 rebounds and 2 assists
10. Sasa Avramovic (193-PG-93) of Iskra Svit - 20 points, 5 rebounds and 2 assists

The Player of the week is chosen based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
