Talented international forward Tina Trebec (189-F-90, agency: Kotnik Sports Agency) had an amazing evening in the last round for league's leader Athlete Celje and that's her to receive a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 6 (Second Stage).
The 21-year old forward had the game-high 32 points adding seven rebounds and two assists for Athlete Celje in her team's victory, helping them to crush Ilrija (#4, 14-10) with 22-point margin 87-65. The game was between two of the league's top four teams. It allowed Athlete Celje to consolidate first place in the Slovenian SKL. Athlete Celje has a very good season and are considered to have a run for the championship title. They improved their record to 23-1. Trebec turned to be Athlete Celje's top player in her first season with the team. Trebec has impressive league stats. She is league's best scorer averaging so far 19.9ppg. Trebec is in league's top in and averages solid 62.1% FGP.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was young Serbian power forward Kristina Baltic (187-F/C-90) of AJM Maribor. Baltic impressed basketball fans with 21 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists. Of course she lead AJM Maribor to another comfortable win 80-63 over the lower-ranked Jezica (#6, 8-16) being unquestionably team leader. AJM Maribor's 3rd position in the standings has not changed. Her team's 15-9 record is not bad at all. Baltic is one of the most experienced players at AJM Maribor and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players. She belongs to the best scorers in the league with 19.3ppg (#2). She also registered 12.2 boards per game.

The third best performed player last round was international forward Ana Ljubenovic (182-F/C-88) of second-ranked Triglav. Ljubenovic scored 14 points and grabbed seven rebounds. She was a key player of Triglav, leading her team to a 67-51 easy win against the lower-ranked Grosuplje (#5, 13-11). Many experts and fans count Triglav as a contender for championship title. Another victory and another confirmation that they may be right. Just look at their record: 22 victories and only two lost games.. Ljubenovic has a very solid season. In 23 games in Slovenia she scored 9.5ppg. She also has 6.0rpg and FGP: 57.0%.

The Player of the week is choosen based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3*(REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4*(2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3*(2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3*(3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)

Former international Forward Anja Klavzar (179-F-90) had a very impressive game in the last round for Ilrija, receiving a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 5 (Second Stage). The 26-year old player had a double-double of 15 points and 12 rebounds, while her team beat Maribor (#5, 3-11) 72-57. Ilrija maintains the 3rd position in Slovenian SKL. Athlete Celje defeated Triglav 53-48 to stay alone at the top of Slovenian League after Championship Stage Round 5. Triglav-Athlete Celje 48-53: Triglav led only once in the game and that came on an opening 3-pointer by Sara Meden (171-PG-94).
