Slovenian U16 National Team travelled to France. They are scheduled to play several test games versus local counterparts. The first game ended with the hosts claiming a comfortable win.
France surged ahead in the opening quarter. They built a 22:15 lead ten minutes into the game. Slovenia cut the deficit in the second term. They narrowed the deficit to 4 points at halftime 40:36. However France ignited a 17:6 run in the third quarter to ensure a 15-point lead at the final intermission. Slovenia outscored the hosts in the fourth stanza but could not avoid the loss. Matej Kavas (193-G-96) came up with 12 points for Slovenia. Tilen Kodrin (202-SF-96) added 9 points, while Sajevic added 7 points in defeat. The teams will meet again tonight.

Tajfun Sentjur added another new player to their roster by inking Tomaz Jereb (192-G-91) until June 2019. Jereb arrives from League Two (2SKL) side Konjice, where he averaged 18.5 points (ranked second), 5.5 rebounds, 6.5 assists (ranked second), 2.9 steals and 0.5 blocks in 15 games this season.
