After abother season with Union Olimpija Ljubljana he moved to AS Trikalla 2000 (Greece-A2, starting five). After 24 games he averaged 13.6ppg, 5.1rpg, 1.6apg, FGP: 60.8%, 3PT: 38.1%, FT: 69.1%. In Greece he became Eurobasket.com All-Greek A1 League Bosman Player of the Year -10 and Eurobasket.com Greek A1 League All-Bosmans Team -10. In 2011-2012 for Spartak St.Petersburg (Russia-PBL) Miha Zupan averaged 6.1ppg, 2.5rpg, FGP: 59.7%, 3PT: 26.8%, FT-3 (91.3%) in Russian league and in VTB League showed 6.4ppg, 2.4rpg, FGP: 62.2%, 3PT: 34.6%, FT: 83.3%. We bring you last week's top performances from Slovenians who are playing abroad and who all have had prior experience of national team duties at youth or senior level.
#1. This week's number one is former international power forward Erazem Lorbek (209-84, college: Michigan St., currently plays in Spain). He led Regal FC Barcelona to an easy victory against the closely-ranked Gescrap BB (19-15) crushing them 88-62 in the Spanish ACB in Thursday night's game.
Lorbek recorded 12 points and grabbed 5 rebounds in a mere 16 minutes on the court.
Regal FC Barcelona (23-11) is placed third in the ACB.
It was his team's third consecutive victory in a row.
It's Lorbek's fourth season with the team.
This year he averages: 10.0ppg, 3.4rpg, 2FGP: 56.9%(112-197), 3FGP: 29.2% and FT: 76.2% in the 35 games he played so far.
Lorbek played for the Slovenian senior national team two years ago.
#2. Second place goes to an experienced former international power forward Bostjan Nachbar (207-80, currently plays in Germany), who plays in the German BBL. He could not help Brose Baskets Bamberg (26-8) in their last game on Wednesday. Despite Nachbar's very good performance the league leader Brose Baskets Bamberg was defeated 98-85 on the road by the lower-ranked Bayern Muenchen (#4).
He was the top scorer with 22 points.
Nachbar has relatively good stats this season: 13.7ppg, 3.7rpg, 2.1apg, 2FGP: 49.3%, 3FGP: 37.9% and FT: 82.3%.
He played for the Slovenian national team in 2010.
#3. The Slovenian player who performed third best last week abroad was former international center Mirza Begic (217-85, currently plays in Spain). Begic contributed to an easy victory against the eighth-ranked Blusens Monbus (18-16) 90-75 in the Spanish ACB on Friday night.
He recorded 9 points in 15 minutes.
Real Madrid (30-4) is placed first in the ACB.
It was his team's fifth consecutive victory in a row.
This year Begic's overall stats are: 5.5ppg, 3.0rpg, 2FGP: 56.0%(75-134) and FT: 75.4% in the 35 games.
He has a dual citizenship: Bosnia and Herzegovina and Slovenian.
Former Triglav Kranj starter played for the Slovenian national team two years ago.
#4. Guard Sani Becirovic (196-81, currently plays in Italy) led Banco di Sardegna Sassari to an easy victory against the seventh-ranked Cantu (17-13) crushing them 81-58 in the Italian SerieA in Friday night's game.
Becirovic scored 11 points and added 3 assists.
Banco di Sardegna Sassari (22-8) is placed second in the SerieA.
It was his team's fourth consecutive victory in a row.
Becirovic's total stats this season are: 9.0ppg, 2.0rpg and 2.9apg.
He is another player who holds two passports: Slovenian and Italian.
Becirovic used to play for the Slovenian national team

#5. Former international small forward Emir Preldzic (205-87, agency: Beo Basket, currently plays in Turkey) was not able to help Fenerbahce Ulker (24-6) in their game against Karsiyaka (23-7) in the Turkish TBL.
He scored 5 points, grabbed 5 rebounds and dished 8 assists in 25 minutes.
Fenerbahce Ulker was edged 81-78 on the opponent's court by the lower-ranked (#5) Karsiyaka.
Preldzic is one of the most experienced players in a team as it's his sixth year in Fenerbahce Ulker's roster.
Preldzic belongs to league's best passers and is ranked #6 with 4.5apg.

Drobnjak scored 12 points, made 4 passes and 3 steals.
It was the game of the round between two top 4 ranked teams. Telenet Oostende (20-8) is placed first in the Ethias League.
Drobnjak's total stats this season are: 9.0ppg, 3.8rpg and 1.9apg.
He is a former international player as he played for the Slovenian senior team five years ago.
#7. Former international power forward Gasper Vidmar (211-87, currently plays in Turkey) was not able to secure a victory for Besiktas (19-11) in their game against Banvit BK (25-5) in the Turkish TBL.

Radnicki Kragujevac (13-9) is placed third in Superliga group.
The Second Stage already ended.
Capin's total stats this season are: 9.6ppg, 2.0rpg and 4.1apg.

33-year old Finnish international point guard Teemu Rannikko (189-88kg-80) left Union Olimpija Ljubljana (Telemach League). In 10 games he had 6.3ppg and 2.0apg this season. He helped them to win the cup and make to league final. Rannikko also played 9 games in Euroleague where he recorded just 2.8ppg and 2.2apg. He also played 25 games in Adriatic League where he recorded 7.0ppg, 1.2rpg and 3.2apg.

Rannikko is quite experienced player. He has played also professionally in Russia (Khimky), Spain (CB Granada), Italy (VL Pesaro, Trenkwalder RE and Roseto) and Finland (Aura Basket).
