Zlatorog Lasko (Telemach League) added to their roster 32-year old Croatian ex-international guard Damir Miljkovic (194-80). He played most recently at Kaptol in Croatian A2. Miljkovics team (he played at that time at Cibona) made it to A1 League Semifinals in 2011. He was also voted to Polish League All-Imports Team (by PLK) in 2009. Miljkovic played also pro basketball in Greece and Russia. He was a member of Croatian international program for some years. Miljkovic was a member of Croatian senior national team in 2006 and previously for U21 national team in 2001.

Ales Pipan is close to become the next head coach of Union Olimpija. The team is reportedly in final stage of the talks with the specialist to take over the bridge. Ales Pipan , if appointed, will replace Saso Filipovski . Ales Pipan is currently working with MZT Skopje. He led the team to the FYR Macedonian League Finals where they lead 2-0 against Kozuv. Union Olimpija finished quite unsuccessful season in the second position in Slovenian Telemach League. They also failed to qualify for the Final Four at the Adriatic League.
