Spanish guard Helena Boada (174-G-87, agency: Regeneracom Sports) had a very impressive game in the last round for Domzale, receiving a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 5.
The 25-year old player was the main contributor (31 points, seven rebounds and eight assists) to as her team Domzale maintains the 8th position in Slovenian SKL. They are still not able to win a single game in the league yet. Too late to salvage the team, which is currently ranked such low. They already lost 4 games and recorded no victories. In the team's last game Boada had a remarkable 81.8% from 2-point range. She turned to be Domzale's top player in her first season with the team. Helena Boada has solid league stats. She is league's best scorer averaging so far 22.3ppg. Boada is in league's top in assists (5th best: 3.3apg) and averages impressive 2.3spg and 60.0% FGP.

The second best player in last round's games was young former international guard Bojana Duric (174-G-91) of league's second-best Triglav. Duric had a very good evening with a double-double of 11 points and 11 assists. Of course she lead Triglav to another comfortable win outscoring Odeja KED (#9, 0-4) 89-47. Triglav's second position in the standings has not changed. A very good start of the season for her team, which won so far all 4 games without any defeat. Duric is one of the most experienced players at Triglav and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players.

Third on the list of top players last round was Serbian Jovana Karakasevic (190-C/F-92) of Ilrija (#5). Karakasevic scored 13 points and grabbed nineteen rebounds (!!!). She was a key player of Ilrija, leading her team to a 88-68 easy win against Domzale (#8, 0-4). Ilrija needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams. Their record at this point is 2 victories and 2 lost games. Karakasevic has a great season in Slovenia. After only 3 games, she made it on the list of the league's leaders in rebounds with 10.7rpg (2nd best).

Other top performing players last week:
4. Larisa Ocvirk (184-F-97) of Athlete Celje - 15 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists

The Player of the week is chosen based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
