We bring you last week's top performances from Slovenians who are playing abroad and who all have had prior experience of national team duties at youth or senior level.

Tina Trebec
Tina Trebec
#1. This week's number one is an international center Tina Trebec (189-90, agency: Kotnik Sports Agency, currently plays in Czech Republic), who plays in the Czech Republic ZBL. She could not help Basket Slovanka MB (3-7) in their last game. Despite Trebec's very good performance Basket Slovanka MB was edged 68-65 on the road by the one of league's weakest teams (#11) BK Pliska Studanka. She was the top scorer with 21 points in 29 minutes on the court. Trebec has individually a very good year with high stats. She averages: 15.3ppg, 2.0rpg, 2FGP: 52.1% and FT: 84.6% in the four games she played so far. Trebec is currently a member of the Slovenian senior national team.

Katarina Ristic

#2. Second place goes to an international guard Katarina Ristic (174-84, currently plays in Turkey). She was not able to help Botas (3-1) in their game against Ceyhan Bld (3-1) in the Turkish TKBL. Ristic was the second best scorer with 9 points. But Botas was crushed 95-62 in a derby game by the lower-ranked Ceyhan Bld (#3). But this is still an early stage of the season and everything may happen. This year Ristic averages only 2.3ppg. She played for the Slovenian national team in 2011.

Nika Baric
Nika Baric
#3. The Slovenian player who performed third best last week abroad was an international point guard Nika Baric (169-92, currently plays in Russia). Baric was not able to secure a victory for Spartak Vidnoye (2-2) in their game against Dynamo Moscow (3-1) in the Russian PBL. It was not her best game last Sunday. Baric scored only 2 points in 6 minutes on the court. Spartak Vidnoye was badly defeated 80-62 in Moscow by the higher-ranked (#3) Dynamo. But the season just started, so everything may happen. This year Baric's overall stats are: 9.7ppg, 1.3rpg, 1.7apg, 1.3spg, 2FGP: 57.9%(11-19), 3FGP: 66.7% in the three games. She is also a member of the Slovenian senior national team.

Lea Jagodic
Lea Jagodic
#4. Forward Lea Jagodic (182-91, currently plays in Italy) contributed to a San Martino's victory against the 11th-ranked Valmadrera (2-5) 53-44 in the Italian A2 (12th division) in Saturday night's game. Jagodic recorded 8 points and grabbed 6 rebounds. Fila San Martino Di Lupari (7-0) is placed first in North group. So far her team won all seven games in the Regular Season. But the season is still in it's first stage and everything can happen. Jagodic has relatively good stats this season: 14.3ppg, 6.9rpg, 1.3apg and 1.4spg. She is also Slovenian national team player.

Ana Ljubenovic
Ana Ljubenovic
#5. International power forward Ana Ljubenovic (182-88, currently plays in Italy), who plays in the Italian A2 (12th division) couldn't help Muggia (3-4) in their last game. Despite Ljubenovic's good performance the ninth-placed Muggia lost 50-58 at home to the lower-ranked (#10) Milano in the North group. She was the second best scorer with 10 points. Ljubenovic also added 5 rebounds in 31 minutes. But there are still lots of games to play and it's a long way to go. This year Ljubenovic has relatively solid stats: 12.4ppg, 8.6rpg and 2.0spg in the seven games. She used to play for the Slovenian national team last year.

Sandra Pirsic
Sandra Pirsic

The bottom-ranked Villeneuve D'Ascq was crushed 87-61 on the opponent's court by the much higher-ranked (#6) Mondeville. It was Villeneuve D'Ascq's fifth consecutive loss in a row. It's Pirsic's first season with the team. This year Pirsic's total stats are: 3.3ppg and 2.8rpg in the four games. She is an international player who is currently on the senior Slovenian National Team roster.

Despite Osterman's good performance Mladi Krajisnik (#6) was badly defeated 77-61 in Beograd by the higher-ranked Radivoj Korac (#3) in the group T of Adriatic League. She recorded 12 points and grabbed 4 rebounds. Osterman has averaged so far 7.7ppg and 2.3rpg. She is also Slovenian national team player.

One more player who has never been selected to any of national teams, but has Slovenian passport:

#1. Branka Vukicevic (173-G-82, currently plays in Croatia), who plays in the Croatian A1 could not help the league outsider ZKK Agram (0-5) in their last game on Saturday. Despite Vukicevic's good performance the bottom-ranked ZKK Agram was crushed 85-53 on the road by the second-ranked Jolly. She was the second best scorer with 12 points. Vukicevic belongs to league's top scorers and is ranked #5. She has individually a very good season with high stats. Vukicevic averages: 17.7ppg, 3.0rpg and 1.7apg.
