Slovan, the last winless team in Telemach League, ended its game losing streak with a road victory, 77-67, over newly promoted Grosuplje in Round 5.
Grosuplje-Slovan 67-77: Slovan, the last winless team in Telemach League, ended its game losing streak with a road victory over newly promoted Grosuplje. Zeljko Zagorac scored 21 points and Vjekoslav Petrovic added 13 points while Igor Tratnik had 14 points for the home team and Nemanja Miljkovic posted 12 points. Grosuplje led 38-27 late in the second quarter and still were up 43-36 early in the third period. Slovan made a 15-2 run and scored dozen straight points to take a crucial lead 75-61 with 1:57 into the game.
Tajfun-Maribor Messer 78-80: After almost erasing a 40-60 late third quarter deficit, Tajfun could not complete the comeback. They scored 15 unanswered points and cut the deficit to 71-72 with 7 seconds left. Jure Pelko made the first throw and missed the second for Maribor and Anze Pelc had a potential game winning 3-pointer for Sentjur, but he missed. Maribor had six scorers in double figures including all starters. Bojan Jovanovic (186-G-82) collected 15 points and 10 rebounds, Elvis Sarkinovic scored 13 points, Esmir Rizvic added 12, Igor Maric and Jure Pelko both posted 11 points and Igor Josipovic came off the bench for 10 points. Sentjur was led by Ivan Drzic who scored 17 of his 20 points in the final quarter. Michael Venezia added 12 points and Anze Pelc scored 11 points on shooting just 5-of-14 from the field.
Helios-Elektra 76-73: After trailing 41-50 in the third quarter, Helios posted 13 straight points to go up 56-52 and had their largest lead of the game at 72-62 with 1:50 remaining. Elektra cut the deficit to 70-72 with 48 seconds to go but Djordje Majstorovic made a lay-up for Helios and Elektra's captain Mensud Julevic missed a 3-pointer with 19 seconds left. Gezim Morina scored game-high 21 points on shooting 9-of-13 from the field gfor Helios and Gregor Hrovat added 15 points while, Andrej Podvrsnik and Mensud Julevic both scored 15 points for Elektra. David Collins added 12 points.
Zlatorog-Rogaska 89-84: After trailing 33-39, Zlatorog went on a 17-2 run spanning halftime to take a lead 50-41. Rogaska cut the deficit to 82-84 with 1:18 remaining, but Samo Udrih made a pair of free throws to keep Zlatorog up 86-82 and Milivoje Mijovic missed a 3-pointer for Rogaska. Sasa Mucic scored 11 of his game-high 20 points in the final quarter for the home team, Samo Udrih and Ante Dugum both added 13 points and Dejan Cigoja posted 11 points. For Rogaska, Milivoje Mijovic came off the bench for 16 points, Zeljko Jotic and Nemanja Barac socred 14 points each, Tadej Horvat posted 12 points and Tadej Kostomaj finished with 10 points.
LTH Castings Mercator-Hopsi 97-74: The visiting team trailed just 45-46 early in the third quarter, but were outscoed 34-55 after the break. Robert Abramovic scored 23 points on shooting 6-9 behind the 3-point line for LTH, Boban Tomic added 20 points, Tomo Cajic posted 11 and Gregor Kolarevic Jakhel netted 10 points. LTH shot 58-percent from the field including 12-of-24 on 3-pointers. Miha Vasl led Hopsi with 19 points, Marko Vranjkovic scored 18 points and Jan Osolnik added 10 points.

Tajfun Sentjur added another new player to their roster by inking Tomaz Jereb (192-G-91) for the remainder of the season. Jereb arrives from League Two (2SKL) side Konjice, where he averaged 18.5 points (ranked second), 5.5 rebounds, 6.5 assists (ranked second), 2.9 steals and 0.5 blocks in 15 games this season.
