The most interesting game was a derby match between two local teams from Ljubljana: Ilrija (#5) and Jezica (#4). Jezica was smashed at home by 27 points 43-70 and even the fact of playing on their own court did not help. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Jezica. The game was mostly controlled by Ilrija. Jezica managed to win second period 14-12. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Jezica to just 4 points in first quarter. Ilrija dominated down low during the game scoring 42 of its points in the paint compared to Jezica's 22. Ilrija forced 20 Jezica turnovers. The best player for the winners was the former international point guard Sasa Panic (171-86) who scored 19 points, 8 assists and 4 steals. Serbian power forward Jovana Karakasevic (190-92) chipped in 14 points and 8 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was guard Petra Lumpert (173-93) who recorded 15 points and 6 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Ilrija (3-2) moved-up to third place, which they share with Grosuplje. Jezica at the other side dropped to the fifth position with three games lost. Ilrija is looking forward to face Odeja KED (#8) in Skofja Loka in the next round where they are favorite. Jezica will play on the road against the league's leader Athlete Celje and is hoping to win this game.

Triglav will play against GVT Konjice (#7) at home in the next round where they are favorite. Grosuplje will play against Domzale (#9) and hopes to get back on the winning track.

Odeja KED will meet higher ranked Ilrija (#4) in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Domzale will play against Grosuplje (#3) and hopes to get finally their first victory.
Undefeated leader Athlete Celje delivered the sixth consecutive victory. This time they crushed 6th ranked AJM Maribor (2-4) 92-51. Rebeka Abramovic notched 25 points and 5 rebounds to lead the effort. AJM Maribor's coach Sergei Ravnikar gave up on the game allowing to play eleven players seeing no chance for a win. Undefeated Athlete Celje (6-0) have an impressive six-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains first position with a perfect record of 6 victories in a row. AJM Maribor at the other side keeps the sixth place with four games lost. Athlete Celje's next round opponent will be Jezica (#5) in Ljubljana.



AJM Maribor - Athlete Celje 51-92

Undefeated leader Athlete Celje delivered the sixth consecutive victory. This time they crushed 6th ranked AJM Maribor (2-4) 92-51. Athlete Celje dominated on the defensive end, holding AJM Maribor to just 6 points in second quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 62 of its points in the paint compared to AJM Maribor's 32. Athlete Celje forced 20 AJM Maribor turnovers. Point guard Rebeka Abramovic (172-93, agency: Veracity Sports, LLC) notched 25 points and 5 rebounds to lead the effort and forward Larisa Ocvirk (184-97) supported her with 21 points and 6 rebounds. Four Athlete Celje players scored in double figures. Even 10 points and 7 rebounds by guard Tjasa Unverdorben (177-93) did not help to save the game for AJM Maribor. The former international guard Ljubica Kure (178-81) added 10 points and 6 rebounds.
