The most interesting game was a derby match between two local teams from Ljubljana: Ilrija (#5) and Jezica (#4). Jezica was smashed at home by 27 points 43-70 and even the fact of playing on their own court did not help. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Jezica. The game was mostly controlled by Ilrija. Jezica managed to win second period 14-12. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Jezica to just 4 points in first quarter. Ilrija dominated down low during the game scoring 42 of its points in the paint compared to Jezica's 22. Ilrija forced 20 Jezica turnovers. The best player for the winners was the former international point guard Sasa Panic (171-86) who scored 19 points, 8 assists and 4 steals. Serbian power forward Jovana Karakasevic (190-92) chipped in 14 points and 8 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was guard Petra Lumpert (173-93) who recorded 15 points and 6 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Ilrija (3-2) moved-up to third place, which they share with Grosuplje. Jezica at the other side dropped to the fifth position with three games lost. Ilrija is looking forward to face Odeja KED (#8) in Skofja Loka in the next round where they are favorite.
