The 24-year old player was the main contributor (23 points, seven rebounds and two assists) to his team's victory, helping them to beat Helios (#6, 0-8), Second Stage bottom-ranked team 77-63. Un.Olimpija is placed at 4th position in Slovenian Liga Nova KBM. Un.Olimpija is rather a weak team placed in lower part in the standings. But it was their 5th lost game this season out of 8 games. In the team's last game Oliver had a remarkable 55.6% from 2-point range and got three three-pointers out of 6 attempts. He turned to be Un.Olimpija's top player in his first season with the team. Former University of Dayton star has very solid stats this year. Oliver is in league's top in points (6th best: 14.9ppg), rebounds (5th best: 7.2rpg) and averages impressive 64.7% FGP.
The second best player in last round's games was young Domen Janc (187-PG-96) of Terme Olimia. Janc had a very good evening with 22 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists. Of course he led Terme Olimia to another comfortable win outscoring the lower-ranked Portoroz (#12, 1-17) 102-44. Terme Olimia's 4th position in the standings has not changed. His team's 9-9 record is not bad at all. Janc is a newcomer at Terme Olimia and despite he is not a team leader yet, every game he becomes more reliable player. Hopefully performances like the last one will happen more often.
Third on the list of top players last round was Bosnia and Herzegovina forward Ramo Rizvic (200-F-87) of Zlatorog (#3). Rizvic scored 24 points. Despite Rizvic's great performance Zlatorog lost 76-90 to #1 ranked Krka. But his team cannot count on just a single player as he also needs help of the other teammates especially in such crucial game. The last thing Zlatorog needs is to lose another game like this one. They lose more and more distance to the top teams. Their record is 4 victories and 4 lost games. Rizvic has a very solid season. In 31 games in Slovenia he scored 12.7ppg. He also has 5.6rpg and FGP: 54.7%.
