25-year old power forward Adin Kavgic (193-F/C-87) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for league's best team Splosna plovba and receives a Eurobasket.com 2SKL Player of the Week award for round 8.
He had the game-high 18 points adding eight rebounds and two assists for Splosna plovba in his team's victory, helping them to outclass Crnomelj (#10, 2-5) with 30-point margin 86-56. It allowed Splosna plovba to consolidate first place in the Slovenian 2SKL. They maintain perfect record without any lost game in the league. It's already very far into the season and Splosna plovba keeps perfect 7 -0 record. Kavgic has many years of experience at Splosna plovba, through which he has constantly improved. Adin Kavgic averages this season 10.4ppg and 5.9rpg.

Second best performed player last round was Ales Kunc (208-C-73) of Crnomelj. He is former international center in his first season at Crnomelj. In the last game Kunc recorded impressive 26 points and 7 rebounds. Bad luck as Crnomelj lost that game 56-86 to league's leader Splosna plovba (#1, 7-0). Crnomelj is still in a red zone at 10th spot in the standings. 5 lost games are too many comparing to just two victories Crnomelj managed to get this year. Kunc is a newcomer at Crnomelj and quickly became one of team's most reliable players.

Third place about best performers goes to another Splosna plovba's star - guard Saso Ozbolt (188-G-81, agency: World Sport Agency). Ozbolt showcased his all-around game by recording 19 points, five rebounds and four assists in the last round. He was another key player of Splosna plovba, helping his team with a 86-56 easy win against the lower-ranked Crnomelj (#10, 2-5). Splosna plovba have amazing season winning all 7 games without a single defeat. Ozbolt turns to be one of the very best players in the league while he is also a leader of the top team having his eyes on the championship title. Ozbolt has a very solid season. In 4 games in Slovenia he scored 13.5ppg.

Other top performing players last week:
4. Savo Milovic (194-G-86) of Postojna - 27 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists
5. Jure Erzen (203-C-75) of Sencur CP - 24 points and 7 rebounds
6. Fuad Memcic (210-C/F-82) of Terme Olimia - 14 points and 12 rebounds

10. Igor Spesic (204-F/C-83) of Terme Olimia - 17 points and 6 rebounds

The Player of the week is chosen based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
