International guard Ziva Zdolsek (178-G-89) put on an amazing game in the last round for league's second-best Triglav and that's her to receive a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 7.
The 23-year old guard recorded a triple-double of 18 points addeding also thirteen rebounds and ten assists, while her team outclassed GVT Konjice (#7, 1-5) with 37-point margin 84-47. Triglav maintains the 2nd position in Slovenian SKL. They maintain perfect record without any lost game in the league. The season is still on an early stage, but Triglav already had a very good start winning all 6 without losing a single one. Zdolsek has many years of experience at Triglav, through which he has constantly improved. Zdolsek has impressive league stats. She is in league's top in points (8th best: 13.7ppg), assists (2nd best: 4.0apg) and averages solid 4.0spg.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was 25-year old Spanish guard Helena Boada (174-G-87, agency: Regeneracom Sports) of Domzale. Boada impressed basketball fans with 26 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists. Bad luck as Domzale lost that game 67-75 to the higher-ranked Grosuplje (#3, 4-2). Domzale are still at the very bottom. 6 lost games are too many considering they did not win any game. Boada is a newcomer at Domzale and it seems she did not have too much trouble to become one of team's leaders. She belongs to the best scorers in the league with 23.3ppg (#1). Her other stats are also decent: 5.8rpg and 3.8apg.

The third best performed player last round was former international forward Marusa Furman (184-F-86) of GVT Konjice (#7). Furman scored 12 points and grabbed eleven rebounds (!!!). Despite Furman's great performance GVT Konjice lost 47-84 to the league's current leader Triglav (#2, 6-0). But her team cannot count on just a single player as she also needs help of the other teammates. GVT Konjice can only dream about fighting for top spots in the league. They have rather bad season and 1-5 record places them close to the bottom of the standings. Too bad for Furman she does not play for a better team. But maybe if she did, her season stats would not be that high. Furman has individually a great season in Slovenia. After only 4 games, she made it on the list of the league's leaders in rebounds with 9.3rpg (4th best).

Other top performing players last week:
4. Anja Klavzar (177-F-90) of Ilrija - 18 points, 11 rebounds and 2 assists
5. Barbara Skof (180-F-80) of Grosuplje - 10 points, 17 rebounds and 5 assists
6. Eva Lisec (190-C-95) of Athlete Celje - 16 points, 12 rebounds and 3 assists
7. Rebeka Abramovic (172-PG-93) of Athlete Celje - 16 points, 4 rebounds and 5 assists
8. Pia Prasnikar (178-PF-97) of Odeja KED - 17 points and 8 rebounds
9. Sanja Orozovic (183-G-90) of Athlete Celje - 16 points and 9 rebounds
10. Anamaria Prezelj (177-F-97) of Domzale - 16 points and 6 rebounds

The Player of the week is chosen based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
