#1. This week's number one is former international shooting guard Sasha Vujacic (201-84, currently plays in Euroleague), who plays in Turkey. He could not help Anadolu Efes (5-4) in their last game. Despite Vujacic's very good performance the third-placed Anadolu Efes lost 76-91 at home to the lower-ranked (#4) Caja Laboral in the group C of Euroleague.
He was the top scorer with 21 points. Vujacic also added 4 rebounds and dished 3 assists in 34 minutes on the court.
His team will play only one more game in the Euroleague Regular Season. And that game will be critical.
Vujacic has relatively good stats this year: 14.2ppg, 2.8rpg, 1.4apg, 2FGP: 39.1%, 3FGP: 54.1%(20-37) and FT: 72.7% in the nine games he played so far.
He played for the Slovenian senior national team three years ago.
#2. Second place goes to an international center Mirza Begic (217-85, currently plays in Spain). Begic led Real Madrid to an easy victory against the seventh-ranked CAI Zaragoza (6-4) 94-79 in the Spanish ACB last Sunday.
He recorded 14 points, 4 rebounds and 2 blocks.
Real Madrid (10-0) is placed first in the ACB.
So far his team won all ten games in the Regular Season.
But this is still an early stage of the season and everything may happen.
This year Begic averages: 5.9ppg, 3.0rpg, 1.1bpg, 2FGP: 57.1%(24-42) and FT: 78.6%.
He has a dual citizenship: Bosnia and Herzegovina and Slovenian.
Former Triglav Kranj starter played for the Slovenian national team in 2011.
#3. The Slovenian player who performed third best last week abroad was an international point guard Goran Dragic (190-86, currently plays in NBA), who plays in the NBA. Dragic was not able to help the Phoenix Suns (7-13) in their last game. Despite his very good performance the Phoenix Suns lost in an overtime 98-108 on the road to the Memphis Grizzlies.
Dragic was the top scorer with 19 points. He also added 7 assists in 44 minutes.
It was Suns' fifth consecutive loss in a row.
But the season just started, so everything may happen.
Dragic has individually a very good year with high stats. He averages: 15.5ppg, 3.0rpg, 6.5apg, 2.0spg, 2FGP: 52.4%, 3FGP: 37.5% and FT: 73.2% in the 20 games.
Dragic played for the Slovenian national team one years ago.
#4. Power forward Gasper Vidmar (211-87, currently plays in Euroleague), who plays in Turkey was not able to secure a victory for Besiktas (4-5) in their last game on Friday. Despite his very good performance Besiktas (#3) was crushed 78-48 on their home court in Istanbul by the leading Regal FC Barcelona in the group D of Euroleague.
Vidmar was the top scorer with 18 points. He also added 6 rebounds and made 3 blocks.
Vidmar's team will play only one more game in the Euroleague Regular Season. And now that game is very crucial.
It's Vidmar's first season with the team.
His overall stats this year are: 7.0ppg, 5.3rpg and 1.2bpg.

#5. International power forward Erazem Lorbek (209-84, college: Michigan St., currently plays in Spain) contributed to a Regal FC Barcelona's victory against one of league's weakest teams Cajasol (1-9) 78-64 in the Spanish ACB last Sunday.
He recorded 7 points and grabbed 7 rebounds in 21 minutes.
Regal FC Barcelona (6-4) is placed sixth in the ACB.
But the season is still in it's first stage and everything can happen.
Lorbek is one of the most experienced players in a team as it's his fourth year in Regal FC Barcelona's roster.
This season Lorbek has relatively solid stats: 10.6ppg and 3.0rpg in the 10 games.

#6. Small forward Emir Preldzic (205-87, agency: Beo Basket, currently plays in Euroleague), who plays in Turkey couldn't help Fenerbahce Ulker (4-5) in their last game. Despite Preldzic's good performance Fenerbahce Ulker (#4) was badly defeated 77-61 in Madrid by the second-ranked Real in the group A of Euroleague.
He was the second best scorer with 10 points in 26 minutes.
Preldzic's team will play only one more game in the Euroleague Regular Season. And now that game is quite important.
Preldzic has been at the team for six years.
This season his overall stats are: 8.8ppg, 2.1rpg and 2.6apg in the nine games.
Preldzic is a former international player as he played for the Slovenian senior team four years ago.
#7. International guard Jaka Lakovic (186-78, currently plays in Eurocup) helped his Turkish team Galatasaray win their game against the closely-ranked Trefl Sopot (1-4) crushing them 103-82 in the Eurocup on Tuesday night.
Lakovic scored 8 points in 17 minutes.
It was the game of the round between two top 4 ranked teams. Galatasaray Medical Park Istanbul (4-1) is placed first in the Eurocup.

#9. Former international point guard Aleksandar Capin (186-82, also represented by Beo Basket, currently plays in Adriatic League) led his Serbian team Radnicki KG to a victory over one of league's weakest teams KK Zadar (4-8) 92-79 in the Adriatic League last Saturday.
Capin was MVP of the game. He scored 18 points and added 8 assists in 28 minutes.
Radnicki Kragujevac (7-5) is placed fifth in the Adriatic League.
Capin is currently eighth on the league's list of top scorers and also on the list of best passers (second place).
He has very reliable stats this year: 13.4ppg, 1.9rpg, 4.6apg and 1.3spg in the nine games.

#10. Forward Bostjan Nachbar (207-80, currently plays in Euroleague), who plays in Germany couldn't help Brose Baskets Bamberg (2-7) in their last game on Friday. Despite his good performance Brose Baskets Bamberg (#5) was defeated 67-62 in Vilnius by the higher-ranked Lietuvos rytas (#4) in the group D of Euroleague.
Nachbar was the second best scorer with 12 points. He also added 6 rebounds.
Nachbar's team will play only one more game in the Euroleague Regular Season.
Nachbar is currently sixth on the list of top scorers.
This season he has very high stats. Nachbar averages: 16.1ppg, 4.9rpg and 1.6apg.

#11. International power forward Miha Zupan (205-82, currently plays in Turkey) helped Turk Telekom win their game against the closely-ranked Olin Edirne 81-78 in the Turkish TBL in Saturday night's game.
Zupan had a double-double by scoring 16 points and getting 12 rebounds in 40 minutes.

#15. Former international guard Sandi Cebular (196-86, currently plays in Spain) was the main contributor in a Lobe Huesca's surprising victory against the fifth-ranked Palencia Baloncesto 82-80 in the Spanish LEB Gold (second division) on Friday night.
Cebular was the best player in that game. He recorded 26 points (!!!) and added 4 passes.

He scored 12 points.
KK Cedevita Zagreb (7-4) is placed third in the Adriatic League.

#3.Nejc Strnad (190-PG-83, currently plays in Greece) led Ikaros to an easy victory against the closely-ranked Kolossos (3-5) crushing them 86-66 in the Greek A1 on Sunday night.
Strnad scored 13 points in only a mere 14 minutes.
Ikaros Kallitheas (5-4) is placed sixth in the A1.
It was his team's third consecutive victory in a row.

Union Olimpija beat Krka 73-68 in Game 3 to avoid a sweep in the finals. Jaka Blazic (196-G-90) scored 14 of his game-high 17 points in the first half, Drazen Bubnic (206-F-86) and Jasmin Perkovic (205-F-80) both poured in 11 points and Klemen Prepelic (191-G-92) came off the bench for 8 assists.
