Forward Alina Gjerkes (178-F-94) had a great game in the last round for Grosuplje, receiving a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 9.
The 18-year old player was the main contributor (28 points, five rebounds and three assists) to her team's victory, helping them to crush Odeja KED (#9, 1-7) with 17-point margin 66-49. Grosuplje maintains the 3rd position in Slovenian SKL. They would have been even better if they did not have these two lost games earlier in Regular Season. Grosuplje will need more victories to improve their 6-2 record. Gjerkes has many years of experience at Grosuplje, through which he has constantly improved. Alina Gjerkes has solid league stats. She is in league's top in points (4th best: 17.0ppg), assists (3rd best: 3.9apg) and averages impressive 2.6spg.

The second best player in last round's games was 25-year old Spanish Helena Boada (174-G-87, agency: Regeneracom Sports) of Domzale. Boada had a very good evening with 29 points and 7 rebounds. Of course she lead Domzale to another comfortable win 75-61 over AJM Maribor (2-6) being unquestionably team leader. This victory allowed Domzale to move up to 6th position in the standings. 6 lost games are too many comparing to just two victories Domzale managed to get this year. Boada is a newcomer at Domzale, but is already one of team's top players. She belongs to the best scorers in the league with 23.8ppg (#1). Her other stats are also decent: 6.8rpg and 3.7apg.

Third on the list of top players last round was guard Rebeka Abramovic (172-PG-93, agency: Veracity Sports, LLC) of league's top team Athlete Celje. Abramovic showcased her all-around game by recording 24 points, five rebounds and five assists in the last round. She was a key player of Athlete Celje, leading her team to a 61-54 win against #2 ranked Triglav in a game of the week. Athlete Celje have amazing season winning all 8 games without a single defeat. Abramovic turns to be one of the very best players in the league while he is also a leader of the top team having his eyes on the championship title. Abramovic has a great season in Slovenia. After only 7 games, she made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 18.7ppg (2nd best). She also has 2.6spg and FGP: 69.2%.

The Player of the week is chosen based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)

32-year old forward Natalija Oven (182-F-84) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for Jezica and receives a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 13. She had the game-high 16 points adding nine rebounds for Jezica in her team's victory, helping them to outclass, the league's bottom-ranked team Domzale (#9, 0-13) with 29-point margin 66-37. Jezica-Celje 67-88: Celje opened the game with a 13-3 run and later went on a 32-5 run spanning the first and second quarter to go up 50-14, the largest lead of the night. Aleksandra Kroselj(168-PG-99) scored 17 points, Iva Slonjsak (183-SG-97) and Shante Evans (184-F/C-91, college: Hofstra) both added 13 points.
