Slovan beat Hopsi 80-62 in Telemach League Round 10 and became the last team to win a home win this season. Zlatorog handed Elektra its first home loss, 75-74, Sentjur need two overtimes to defeat Grosuplje, 110-103.
Grosuplje-Tajfun 103-100 2OT: Tajfun led 62-49 in the third quarter and was still ahed 77-67 with 1:51 remaining. Grosuplje scored seven straight straight points and Marko Antonijevic was fouled as he threw up a shot with five seconds left and made all three free throws to send the game into overtime. Grosuplje led 89-85 with 19 seconds left in extra period, but Anze Pelc (190-G-90) hit 2-pointer and made a pair of free throws to force another overtime. Grosuplje tied at 94, Pelc then hit the go-ahead 3-pointer and Tajfun never looked back from there. Pelc finished with 25 points, Tadej Ferme added 24, Emir Zimic had 18 points and 13 rebounds, Thomas Venezia posted 14 poinst and Mladen Primorac 13. Grosuplje's reserves outscored its reserves 62-41- Nemanja Miljkovic came off the bench for 22 points and 11 rebounds, Boris Jersin collected 19 points and 8 rebounds, Matija Trampus scored 17 points and Marko Antonijevic 10.
Helios-LTH Castings Mercator 80-65: After tying at 57 early in the final quarter, Helios made a 18-4 run to take a lead 75-61 with 1:25 remaining. Nikola Gacesa came off the bench for 19 points, Jure Mocnik had 16 points and 8 rebounds, Blaz Mahkovic scored 14 points and Miha Fon added 12. LTH was led by Robert Abramovic with 20 points, Tomo Cajic and Boba Tomic both scored 12 points and Vjeran Soldo 11.
Rogaska Crystal-Maribor Messer 62-81: Maribor, who never trailed, went on a 22-4 run to lead 29-11 after first quarter, then coast to an easy win. Esmir Rizvic collected 20 points and 10 rebounds, Igor Maric scored 19 points, Jure Pelko 17 and Bojan Jovanovic handed out 9 assists. Milivoje Mijovic had 15 points and 10 rebounds for Rogaska, Milos Miljkovic scored 12 points and Tadej Kostomaj 10.
Elektra-Zlatorog 74-75: Zlatorog take the largest lead of the game at 28-18, but Elektra cut the deficit to 28-30 and they were up 64-61 early in the final quarter. Zlatorog made a 8-2 run to go ahead 75-70 with 1:05 into the game. Andrej Podvrsnik and Mensud Julevic both made lay-ups to cut the deficit to 74-75. Uros Zadnik lost the ball and Elektra had three potential game-winnings shots in the closing seconds, but Ziga Zagorc, David Collins and Simo Atanackovic, all of them former Zlatorog's players, missed its shots. Zlatorog had all five starters in double figures. Ante Dugum scored 17 points, Luka Lapornik finished with 15 points without a miss, Sasa Mucic added 12 points and Samo Udrih and Uros Zadnik both posted 11 points. Elektra suffered its first home loss. Mensud Julevic had 18 points and 11 rebounds, Ziga Zagorc had 11 points, 6 rebounds and 8 assists, David Collins scored 11 points and Simo Atanackovic added 10.
Slovan-Hopsi 80-62: Slovan scored 16 straigt points to go ahead 21-5 and led by as many as 31 points, 43-14, early in the second quarter. Zeljko Zagoprac finished with 25 points, Dejan Mlakar scored 21 points including four 3-pointers and handed out 8 assists and Jan Span added 15 points. Hopsi outrebounded Slovan 34-29 and shot 46-percent from the field to Slovan's 47%, but they commited 26 turnovers. Isiah Martin scored team-high 14 points, Marko Vranjkovic added 13 and Ziga Koritnik 12.

Helios Suns handed Zlatorog just their second home loss of the season, 64-62 in the opening game of the 2016 Slovenian League finals. Marijan Cakarun (204-C-90) scored 21 points and was just a rebound shy of a double-double, Jan Mocnik (178-PG-87) had 13 points and 6 assists, Djordje Lelic (198-SF-89) added 12 points and Hugh Robertson (195-G-89, college: S.Florida) grabbed 12 rebounds. Prepelic leaves EWE Baskets - May 28, 2016

24-year old Slovenian ex-international guard Klemen Prepelic (191-92) left EWE Baskets Oldenburg (BBL). In 32 games he averaged 10.0ppg, 3.0rpg and 3.2apg this season. The last season Prepelic played at Union Olimpija Ljubljana (Telemach League) in Slovenia. Zlatorog and Helios Suns will meet in the 2016 Slovenian League finals. Helios claimed the road win 77-74 over regular season champion Krka in decisive Game 3.
