Crvena Zvezda earned the 11th win in the Adriatic League season. They surprised Union Olimpija in the Slovenian capital tonight. Igor Rakocevic (191-G-78) scored 23 points to pace the Serbian team. Crvena Zvezda looked confident right from the start. They built a 17:14 lead ten minutes into the encounter. Crvena Zvezda limited the hosts to 12 points in the second quarter to establish a 36:26 halftime lead. The margin kept on growing in the third term. The visitors secured a 12-point buffer heading into the final period. Crvena Zvezda did not give a single chance for the home team cruising to the victory in the final ten minutes. Boris Savovic (210-F-87, agency: Beo Basket) accounted for 13 points and 13 boards, while Elton Brown (206-C-83, college: Virginia) and Rasko Katic (208-C-80, agency: Beo Basket) added 7 points each for the winners. Olimpija was outrebouned 26-36 and missed 15 free throws, but they shot 56-percent from the field (27-of-48) to Krka's just 42 percent (24-of-57).
