Tajfun Sentjur earned a tough 71-62 win over visting Helios in Round 11 of Telemach League. It market the first time Tajfun had beaten Helios since November 2003, breaking a string of 25 straight wins.
Tajfun-Helios 71-62: Tajfun never trailed, opened the game with 9 straight points. They had their largest lead of the game at 28-17, but Helios tied at 40 in the third quarter. The home team answered with a 14-4 run to go ahead 54-44 going into the final period. Helios cut the deficit to 56-57 with 4:54 remaining and Milan Sebic (204-F-86) hit back-to-back 3-pointers that helped Tajfun pull away for a 63-56. Primoz Brolih led Tajfun with 16 points, Emir Zimic added 13 and Milan Sebic finished with 12 points. Helios' bench players outscored its starters 53-9. Nikola Gacesa (205-F-87, college: TCU) netted 24 points and Gezim Morina posted 13 points.
Zlatorog-Slovan 77-67: After trailing 59-64 in the final period, Zlatorog scored 11 straight points and its defense held Slovan scoreless for a 5:15 span. Samo Udrih (195-G-79) led all scorers with 22 points. Jaka Brodnik and Miha Lapornik both added 12 points for Zlatorog. Slovan haven't beaten Zlatorog at Lasko since April 2007. Dejan Mlakar (192-G-88, agency: Global Sports Plaza) came off the bench for 16 points, Luka Dimec all of his 12 points scored in the second quarter and Stipe Modric 9 of his 11 points posted in the opening quarter.
Grosuplje-Rogaska Crystal 68-77: The game saw just four lead changes before Rogaska scored seven consecutive points to take a lead 38-32 late in the second quarter and never looked back from there. They had their largest lead at 52-37 in the third period. Grosuplje cut the deficit to 59-61, but Rogaska go ahead 73-64 to secure the win. Tadej Horvat (196-G-87) came off the bench to led all scorers with 17 points, Milivoje Mijovic had 14 points and 14 rebounds, Milos Miljkovic scored 14 points, Boban Tomic added 13 and Tadej Kostomaj posted 11 points and handed out 5 asssists. Grosuplje bench gave almost nothing as the 5 bench players combined for juts 3 points in 55 minutes. Marko Antonijevic (189-G-81, agency: Court Side) scored 16 points, Saso Zagorac is his debut collected 15 points and 9 rebounds, Matija Trampus added 12 points and Andrew Dikas and Igor Tratnik netted 11 points each.
Hopsi-Maribor Messer 86-95: Both teams combined for 25 3-pointers, but Maribonr emerged victorious, taking down bottom placed Hopsi. After trailing 62-65 late in the third quarter, Maribor went on a crucial 14-2 run to go ahead 76-67 its lead never dipped under six points for the rest of the game. Jure Pelko (190-G-90) scored 33 points on shooting 7-of-11 behind the 3-point line for Maribor, Igor Maric added 21 points, Esmir Rizvic posted 18 points and grabbed 7 rebounds and Bojan Jovanovic collected 14 points and 9 rebounds. Hopsi was led by Isiah Martin (203-F/C-89, college: Indiana St.) with his 20 points, Daniel Vujasinovic registering a double-double with 17 points and 10 rebounds, Goran Jagodnik added 16 points on shooting 6-of-16 from the field and Hugh Robertson in his debut collected 14 points and 7 rebounds.
LTH Castings Mercator-Elektra 79-86: Elektra trailed by six, 66-72 with 5:12 remaining, before a 15-2 run gave them a 81-74 lead with 1:21 into the game. LTH cut the deficit to 79-81 with 37 seconds to go and Elektra went 6-6 from the free throw line from that point on tosecure the win. Andrej Podvrsnik (186-G-87) scored 19 points, Mensud Julevic 17, Ziga Zagorc 15, Drago Brcina 11 and Simo Atanackovic came off the bench for 11 points and 10 rebounds. Elektra outrebounded LTH 40-22, picking up 15 offensive rebounds and they shot 32 free throws to LTH's 14. Robert Abramovic (185-G-88) led all scorers with 21 points for LTH, Pavle Boljkovac in his debut netted 16 points, Mirza Sarajlija 11 and Ales Primc posted 10 points.

Lastovka added size to their roster by singning Serbian with Slovenian citizenship Rade Lisica for the upcoming season. Lisica arrived from Zlatorog Lasko, where he spent last four seasons.
