Subrina Ilirija punched its ticket for the second stage of the season (League playoffs) through a 81-80 overtime victory against Domzale.
Subrina Ilirija-Domzale 81-80 OT: Anja Klavzar (177-F-90) scored a game-winning jumper with just 3 seconds left in overtime to capture an 81-80 win. Klavzar finished with 22 points and 17 rebounds, Matea Tavic (178-G-92, agency: Regeneracom Sports) scored 18 points, Sara Meden 12, Lana Kotar 11 and Sandra Jevtovic added 10 points. After trailing 57-65 with just 55 seconds remaining in regulation, Domzale scored 10 straight points to take a lead 67-65 with five seconds into the game. Matea Tavic tied the game at 67 with one second left and sent the game to overtime. Ilirija opened the extra-time with a 9-2 run to go ahead 76-69. Helena Boada (174-G-87, agency: Regeneracom Sports) scored seven straight consecutive points to tie at 76 and hit a jumper to give Domzale an 80-79 lead with 11 seconds to go. Boada led all scorers with 34 points, 27 of which came in the fourth quarter and in the overtime. Annamaria Prezelj added 15 points for Domzale, Romana Vukovic 12 and Sabina Ajkic 10.
Athlete Celje-Triglav 62-54: After trailing 7-9, Celje scored 9 straight points to take a lead 18-9. Triglav go ahead 31-30 in the last action of the first halftime. Celje opened the second half with a 11-2 run to push the score to 41-33 and never looked back from there. However, Triglav cut the defcit to 44-45, but Celje answered with a 10-3 run. Marica Gajic (187-C-95) scored 16 points and grabbed 24 rebounds, Rebeka Abramovic posted 16 points and Alma Potocnik added 12. Triglav grabbed 18 offensive rebounds, but the shot just 29-percent (22-of-79) of the field. Ziva Zdolsek (178-G-89) was the lone Triglav's player in double figures with 24 points and 10 rebounds.

Eva Komplet (182-F/C-86) will stay with Croatian champion Novi Zagreb for the coming season after the sides agreed to an extension today. Komplet joined Novi Zagreb last summer and averaged 6.4 points, 3.7 rebounds, 0.9 assists and 0.5 steals in 16 Croatian League. She missed first part of the season due to knee surgery.
