Goran
Jagodnik
Experienced former international forward Goran Jagodnik (203-F-74, agency: Beo Basket) had a great game in the last round for Polzela and that's him to receive a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 14.
The 38-year old forward had a double-double of 24 points and twelve rebounds, while his team beat LTHcast Mercator (#7, 5-9) 73-64. Polzela maintains the 10th position in Slovenian Telemach League. The season is in a full swing, so it's only a dream for the team to make it into top half of the standings. For contrary they may face relegation if the situation turns from bad to worse. Polzela have already lost 12 games and recorded just two victories. Jagodnik just recently signed at Polzela, being already a very valuable addition to the team. Goran Jagodnik averages this season 19.0ppg and 6.3rpg.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was 28-year old Serbian power forward Milos Miljkovic (204-F/C-84) of Rogaska. Miljkovic impressed basketball fans with a double-double of 17 points and 13 rebounds. It was enough for Rogaska to edge the higher-ranked Zlatorog (#1, 11-3) by 4 points 71-67. Rogaska's 5th position in the standings has not changed. His team lost some distance to top teams. But 8-6 record is not bad and everything may still change. Miljkovic is well-known by Rogaska fans and he already established his position as one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 14.2ppg (#7). He also registered 7.9 boards per game.

The third best performed player last round was Canadian David Collins (213-C-85) of Elektra (#6). Collins scored 10 points and grabbed ten rebounds. He was a key player of Elektra, leading his team to a 65-48 easy win against the higher-ranked Helios (#2, 10-4). Elektra needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams. Their record at this point is 8 victories and 6 lost games. Collins has a great season in Slovenia. After 14 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in rebounds with 7.1rpg (5th best). He also has 1.5bpg and FGP: 54.5%.

Other top performing players last week:
4. Stipe Modric (206-F-79) of Geoplin Slovan - 18 points and 4 rebounds
5. Boban Tomic (190-G-88) of Rogaska - 15 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists
6. Danijel Vujasinovic (180-G-89) of Polzela - 5 points, 7 rebounds and 9 assists
7. Dejan Mlakar (192-G-88) of Geoplin Slovan - 13 points, 4 rebounds and 7 assists
8. Luka Lapornik (195-G-88) of Zlatorog - 16 points and 6 rebounds
9. Sasa Zagorac (205-F/C-84) of Grosuplje - 22 points, 3 rebounds and 2 assists
10. Uros Zadnik (187-PG-90) of Zlatorog - 10 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists

The Player of the week is chosen based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
