Croatian Center Lorena Molnar (192-C-98) put on an amazing game in the last round for Domzale, receiving a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 12. The 18-year old player had a double-double of 22 points and 17 rebounds, while her team Domzale maintains the 9th position in Slovenian SKL. They are still not able to win a single game in the league yet. Too late to salvage the team, which is currently ranked at the very bottom. They already lost 11 games and recorded no victories. Molnar turned to be Domzale's top player in her first season with the team. Lorena Molnar has solid league stats. She is in league's top in points (2nd best: 15.8ppg) and averages impressive 1.5bpg and 59.6% FGP.
The second best player in last round's games was 23-year old former international point guard Rebeka Abramovic (172-PG-93) of league's second-best Triglav. Abramovic had a very good evening with 16 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists. Of course she led Triglav to another comfortable win outscoring the lower-ranked Janina (#7, 2-8) 67-44. Triglav's second position in the standings has not changed. Her team belongs to top of the standings with 10-1 record and is considered one of the main candidates for the league title. Abramovic is a newcomer at Triglav, but is already one of team's top players.
Third on the list of top players last round was guard Tea Ramsak (173-G-97) of Konjice (#5). Ramsak showcased her all-around game by recording 20 points, seven rebounds and four assists in the last round. She was a key player of Konjice, leading her team to a 64-62 win against slightly higher-ranked Maribor (#4, 7-4). The chances of Konjice ranking at the top of the league, however are very questionable as they have already lost 6 games, recording just five victories. With bigger assistance of her teammates, Ramsak could help Konjice to bring them higher in the standings. Ramsak has a very solid season. In 11 games in Slovenia she scored 8.5ppg.
