Rogaska got important reinforcement for rest of the season. The Slovenian outfit inked a deal with Serbian big guy Dragoljub Kitanovic (203-C-85). The center started the season with Swedish team Stockholm Eagles averaging 13 points and 3.7 rebounds in 17 games. Last season he shined in Serbian Superleague with BKK Radnicki scoring 22 points against Crvena Zvezda, 19 vs Radnicki Kragujevac, 16 against Hemofarm and 14 vs Partizan Belgrade, while his team was the most pleasant surprise of the season. In the past Kitanovic spent several years with Vojvodina Novi Sad.
Union Olimpija beat Krka 73-68 in Game 3 to avoid a sweep in the finals. Jaka Blazic (196-G-90) scored 14 of his game-high 17 points in the first half, Drazen Bubnic (206-F-86) and Jasmin Perkovic (205-F-80) both poured in 11 points and Klemen Prepelic (191-G-92) came off the bench for 8 assists.

Krka cut the deficit to 66-70 with 52 second into the game. Teemu Rannikko (189-PG-80) hit just one free throw for Olimpija, but Edo Muric (202-F-91) missed a 3-pointer to cut the deficit to two. Olimpija was outrebouned 26-36 and missed 15 free throws, but they shot 56-percent from the field (27-of-48) to Krka's just 42 percent (24-of-57). Krka was led by Jakov Vladovic (187-PG-83, agency: XL Basketball Agency) with his 13 points, Matjaz Smodis (205-F-79) added 11, Domen Lorbek (198-G/F-85) posted 10 points and Jaka Klobucar (198-G-87) had 8 points and 9 rebounds.
