Zlatorog is the first team to clinch a League Play-Off spot while Tajfun Sentjur tied the longest winning streak in Telemach League this season - 7 - with an 87-72 victory over Hopsi in Round 15. Helios also won 7 in a row this season. Helios-Slovan 80-72: Both teams hit more than 50 percent of their shots. Slovan opened the game with a 11-2 run, the largest lead of the game. Helios scored 11 straight points to take its first lead of the game, 31-29, midway through the second quarter, and they trailed just twice the rest of the was, 50-52 and 57-58. Going into the final 30 seconds, Slovan were ahead 72-75. Just then Gregor Horvat (196-G/F-94) sank a 3-pointer for Helios who are still the only unbeaten at home. Gregor Horvat finished with 15 points, Matic Rebec (180-PG-95) added 13, Jure Mocnik (185-PG-85) posted 12 points and Nikola Gacesa (205-F-87, college: TCU) had 11 points and 8 rebounds. Helios' bench players outscored opposing reserves 38-19. Dejan Mlakar (192-G-88, agency: Global Sports Plaza) led all scorers with 23 points for Slovan. Jan Span (189-PG-92) posted 14 points, Stipe Modric (206-F-79) 13 and Milos Paravinja (212-C/F-79) 10. Tajfun-Hopsi 87-72: After leading 46-43 midway through the third quarter, Tajfun made a 12-4 run to take the first double digit lead of the game by either team, 58-47. They scored seven straight points to go up 65-49 and led by as many as 23 points in the final quarter, 81-58. Mladen Primorac (210-C-90) had 18 points and 11 rebounds, Anze Pelc (190-G-90) scored 17 points and handed out 8 assists, Mike Venezia (185-PG-88, college: Colgate) scored 15 points, all on the 3-pointer, and Emir Zimic (215-C-86) added 11 points. Hopsi were outrebouned 27-40. Goran Jagodnik (203-F-74, agency: Beo Basket) scored 19 points, Hugh Robertson (198-G-89, college: S.Florida) added 14 and Marko Vranjkovic (204-F/C-90) and Isiah Martin (203-F/C-89, college: Indiana St.) both posted 11 points. LTH Casting Mercator-Zlatorog 78-89: Zlatorog held the advantage for most of game, there were just four lead changes and five tied score. Zlatorog made a 6-0 run to take a led 27-23 midway through the second quarter and never looked back from there. They had their largest lead of the game at 62-50 and LTH cut the deficti to 73-76 with 3:31 remaining. Zlatorog answered with a 7-2 run to go up 83-75 with less than two minutes to go. Zlatorog outrebounded LTH 29-21, picking up 13 offensive boards. Samo Udrih (195-G-79) scored 21 points, Ziga Dimec (208-C/F-93) and Ante Djugum (211-C-88, agency: Court Side) both added 14 points and Uros Zadnik (187-PG-90) posted 13 points. LTH was led by Robert Abramovic (185-G-88) with his 25 points and Tomo Cajic (200-F/C-85) scored 16 points. Elektra-Rogaska Crystal 41-42: Both teams made less than 30 percent of their field-goal attempts in the game of fewest total combined points in Teleamch league history. The largest lead of either team was Rogaska's five points of he lead, 39-34, with 3:40 into the game. Elektra cut the defcit to 41-42 with David Collins (213-C-85, college: Bradley) hitting a pair of free throws with six seconds to go. Rogaska could find no one free and was called for a five seconds violation. Elektra had the final possession but was unable to attempt a shot and time expired. Andrej Podvrsnik (186-G-87) was the lone Elektra's player in double figures with 11 points. Milos Miljkovic (204-F/C-84) led Rogaska with 14 points and Milivoje Mijovic (200-F-91) grabbed 10 rebounds. Grosuplje-Maribor Messer 82-87 OT: The game saw just two lead changes. Maribor opened the game with a 21-4 run and never trailed in regulation. Sasa Zagorac (205-F/C-84) tied the game at 73 with 38 seconds left with a free throw. On the ensuing possession, Jure Pelko (190-G-90) missed 3-pointer for Maribor and Grosuplje's Ziga Erculj (177-G-86) missed a jumper in the closing seconds to send the game into overtime. Grosuplje opened the extra-time with five straight points, but Maribor answered with a 10-0 run and its defense held the host team scoreless for a 3:14 span. Jure Pelko and Bojan Jovanovic (186-G-82) both scored 20 points, Esmir Rizvic (213-C-82, college: Texas Tech) 18, Igor Maric (196-F-85) had 14 points and 9 rebounds and Ilija Gavric (200-F-88) added 10 points. Grosuplje outrebounded Maribor 35-20, picked up 11 offensive boards, but the commited 23 turnovers. In the team's last game Oliver had a remarkable 55.6% from 2-point range and got three three-pointers out of 6 attempts. He turned to be Un.Olimpija's top player in his first season with the team. Former University of Dayton star has very solid stats this year. Oliver is in league's top in points (6th best: 14.9ppg), rebounds (5th best: 7.2rpg) and averages impressive 64.7% FGP.
The second best player in last round's games was young Domen Janc (187-PG-96) of Terme Olimia. Janc had a very good evening with 22 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists. Of course he led Terme Olimia to another comfortable win outscoring the lower-ranked Portoroz (#12, 1-17) 102-44. Terme Olimia's 4th position in the standings has not changed. His team's 9-9 record is not bad at all. Janc is a newcomer at Terme Olimia and despite he is not a team leader yet, every game he becomes more reliable player. Hopefully performances like the last one will happen more often.
Third on the list of top players last round was Bosnia and Herzegovina forward Ramo Rizvic (200-F-87) of Zlatorog (#3). Rizvic scored 24 points. Despite Rizvic's great performance Zlatorog lost 76-90 to #1 ranked Krka. But his team cannot count on just a single player as he also needs help of the other teammates especially in such crucial game. The last thing Zlatorog needs is to lose another game like this one. They lose more and more distance to the top teams. Their record is 4 victories and 4 lost games. Rizvic has a very solid season. In 31 games in Slovenia he scored 12.7ppg. He also has 5.6rpg and FGP: 54.7%.

Rogaska-Hopsi 76-70: Rogaska used a 9-0 run for a 24-15 lead early in the second quarter, their largest lead of the night. Hopsi cut the deficit to 24-26 and then went on a 15-2 run to close out the first half with a 39-30. The visitors had their largest lead of the game at 53-41 midway through the third quarter. At that point, Rogaska scored 10 consecutive points to ignite a 15-2 run and retake the lead, 56-55. After trailing by one early in the fourth quarter, Rogaska once again scored 10 straight points to go ahead 71-62 with less than three minutes remaining. Hopsi reduced the score to 70-71 with minute and a half to go. Rogaska's Eldin Camdzic (195-G-90) was fouled on a 3-point attempt and he connected all three free throws for a 74-70 advantage. Hopsi then lost the ball and Leon Santelj (204-F-95) made a pair of free throws to bring the final score to 76-70. Dee Davis had 19 points and 8 assists for Rogaska, Taylor Johns (201-F, college: Cal-Riverside) and Miha Fon (194-G-84) both scored 15 points and Leon Santelj 13. Hopsi was led by Jakob Cebasek (200-G/F-91) with 18 points, Dejan Cup (202-PF-83) scored 17 and Uros Godler (205-C-85) 13.
Krka-Zlatorog 90-76: Krka spotted Zlatorog only an opening 3-pointer by Ramo Rizvic (200-F-87), then ran off 10 consecutive points to decide the issue early. The visitors cut the deficit to 8-12, but Krka took their first double digit lead at 24-13 late in the second quarter and extended their advantage to 40-22. Dominique Elliott (203-F-91, college: Md-E Shore) finished with 18 points, Ziga Dimec (211-C-93) added 15, both off the bench, Matic Rebec (181-PG-95) had 14 points and 6 assists and Ron Curry (191-G-93, college: JMU) scored 12 points. Zlatorog outrebounded Krka 37-31, picking up 17 offensive boards, but shot just 40-percent (23-of-57) from the field to Krka's 56-percent. Ramo Rizvic scored 24 points, Nejc Baric (181-PG-97) 18, Roman Rubinshteyn (195-G-96) 13 and Milos Miljkovic (205-C/F-84) 10.

The visitors opened the second quarter with a 10-0 run to extend their lead to 28-16. Helios cut the deficit to two, but Olimpija responed with an 18-1 run spanning halftime for a 49-30 lead.
