Defending chamopion Athlete Celje and Domzale have all made it through to the finals of the 2013 Slovenian Cup. Celje never trailed and easily beat Grosuplje, 58-73, while Domzale pulled out a 72-59 win over Subrina Ilirija for its first finals in club history.
Athlete Celje-Grosuplje 73-58: Celje, who never trailed, took its first double-digit lead of the game at 22-12. They had all five starters in double figures. Sanja Orozovic (183-G-90) scored 16 points, Marica Gajic (187-C-95) had 14 points and 10 rebounds, Rebeka Abramovic (172-PG-93, agency: Veracity Sports, LLC) added 11 points, Nina Gabrovsek (168-PG-94) netted 10 points and Eva Lisec (190-C-95) grabbed 14 rebounds. Grosuplje was outrebounded 27-44. Barbara Skof (180-F-80) scored 12 points, Alina Gjerkes (178-F-94) and Zala Lesek (187-F-97) both added 11 points and Klara Zupancic (168-PG-95) posted 10 points.
Domzale-Subrina Ilirija 72-59: After trailing 34-41 midway through the third quarter, Ilirija scored eight straight points to go up 42-41, its last lead of the game. Domzale answered with 11-4 run and extended their lead to 61-50. Ilirija cut the deficit to 57-62, but Helena Boada (174-G-87, agency: Regeneracom Sports) hit a 3-pointer and a pair of free throws and Nina Brekalo (180-C-93) added a jumper that pushed Domzale's advantage to 69-57 with 47 seconds left. Helena Boada led all scorers with 25 points and Sabina Ajkic (176-SG-96) and Romana Vukovic (180-F-88) added 12 points apiece. Ilirija was led by Anja Klavzar (177-F-90) with her 23 points. Matea Tavic (178-G-92, agency: Regeneracom Sports) added 19 points and Sandra Jevtovic (187-PF-93) grabbed 14 rebounds.

Former international Forward Anja Klavzar (179-F-90) had a very impressive game in the last round for Ilrija, receiving a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 5 (Second Stage). The 26-year old player had a double-double of 15 points and 12 rebounds, while her team beat Maribor (#5, 3-11) 72-57. Ilrija maintains the 3rd position in Slovenian SKL. Athlete Celje defeated Triglav 53-48 to stay alone at the top of Slovenian League after Championship Stage Round 5. Triglav-Athlete Celje 48-53: Triglav led only once in the game and that came on an opening 3-pointer by Sara Meden (171-PG-94).
