Milan Klepo
Center Milan Klepo (211-C-80) had a very impressive game in the last round for Lastovka, receiving a Eurobasket.com 2SKL Player of the Week award for round 20.
The 32-year old player had a double-double of 20 points and 18 rebounds, while his team beat Parklji (#10, 6-11) 84-72. Lastovka maintains the 6th position in Slovenian 2SKL. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Lastovka will need more victories to improve their 11-8 record. Klepo turned to be Lastovka's top player in his first season with the team. Milan Klepo has solid league stats. He is in league's top in points (9th best: 15.8ppg), rebounds (8th best: 6.7rpg) and averages impressive 66.9% FGP.

The second best player in last round's games was young Klemen Panic (180-PG-91) of Litija. Panic had a very good evening with 35 points, 4 rebounds and 4 assists. Of course he lead Litija to another comfortable win 87-74 over the higher-ranked Radenska (#5, 11-7) being unquestionably team leader. This victory allowed Litija to move up to 11th position in the standings. His team is not often considered as one of the league's best with a mere 6-12 record. Panic is well-known at Litija and is a proven leader in his second season with the team. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 16.8ppg (#6).

Third on the list of top players last round was forward Anze Cerkovnik (200-F/C-86) of Crnomelj (#9). Cerkovnik scored 23 points and grabbed five rebounds. He was a key player of Crnomelj, leading his team to a 80-79 win against Branik (#13, 0-18). The chances of Crnomelj not to end season at such low position in the league, however are less than slim as they have already lost 11 games, recording just seven victories. With bigger assistance of his teammates, Cerkovnik could try to bring Crnomelj's a little bit higher in the standings. Cerkovnik has individually a great season in Slovenia. After 16 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in rebounds with 6.6rpg (9th best).

Other top performing players last week:
4. Alen Prole (198-F/C-83) of Koper - 20 points, 12 rebounds and 3 assists
5. Jure Gabrovsek (180-PG-93) of Postojna - 24 points, 6 rebounds and 2 assists
6. Lovro Hren (202-F/G-87) of Litija - 16 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists
7. Ziga Dobrin (185-G-87) of Branik - 25 points and 3 rebounds
8. Luka Zavrsnik (202-F/C-90) of Triglav Strazisce - 18 points and 7 rebounds
9. Peter Grdesic (188-G-86) of Crnomelj - 22 points and 6 rebounds
10. Stefan Kosec (200-F/C-83) of Sencur CP - 21 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists

The Player of the week is chosen based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
