Hopsi rallied from an 18-point deficit to beat Tajfun 77-75 and Union Olimpija almost lost to 10th placed Terme Olimia.

Hopsi-Tajfun 77-75: Hopsi trailed by 18 points late in the second quarter and never led more than three points, but it was enough to earn their 13th win of the season and now is one step away from advancing to the Championship stage. Hopsi's only lead until 3:04 to go came when Zan Kosic (185-G-93) converted a three-point play for a 3-2 lead only 50 seconds into the game. Tajfun, who led most of the way, used a 20-6 run to go up 22-9 and had their largest lead of the night at 47-29. Hopsi cut the deficit to six early in the second half, 43-49, but the visitors responed with five straight points. After trailing 62-70, Hopsi went on a 9-0 run to go up 71-70 for their second lead of the game and never looked back from there. Jakob Cebasek (200-G/F-91) sank a 3-pointer that gave Hopsi a 74-71 lead. Danijel Vujasinovic (184-PG-89) made a pair of free throws to cut the deficit to one and Tajfun fouled Stephen Hurt (211-F-93, college: Kansas St.) who made both foul shots. Danijel Vujasinovic once again cut the deficit to just one point with a pair of free throws to make it, 75-76, with 16 seconds left. Tajfun fouled Jakob Cebasek, who missed both free throws. Kevin Spicer (198-F, college: Alabama St.) grabbed a defensive rebound, but his poor pass bounced right to Alen Hodzic (192-SF-92). He drew a foul and missed the first shot and made the second one with six seconds left. Tajfun had the final possession and Danijel Vujasinovic missed a potential game-winning 3-pointer from the corner at the buzzer.
Hopsi had all five starters in double figure scoring, but the bench players combined for only 4 points. Dejan Cup (202-PF-83) led all scorers with 21 points, Jakob Cebasek posted 19 points and was a rebound shy of a double-double, Zan Kosic collected 12 points and 11 assists, Stephen Hurt added 11 points and Alen Hodzic 10.Tajfun shot just 13-of-23 from the free throw line. Malcolm Grant (185-G-88, college: Miami, FL) finished with 17 points, Danijel Vujasinovic scored 16, Khaliq Spicer 13, Matic Macek (188-PG-94) and Milija Mikovic (205-C-94) both added 11 points.

Terme Olimia-Union Olimpija 80-85: The game featured just two lead changes. Terme Olimia used a 10-0 run to turn an eight-point deficit into a 35-33 lead and then extended their advantage to 58-48 midway through the third quarter. Olimpija retake the lead at 77-76 with 1:06 remaining. Brandon Jefferson (175-PG-91, college: Metro St.) sank a 3-pointer for an 80-76 advantage with 39 seconds left. Ashton Gibbs (188-PG-90, college: Pittsburgh) hit a pair of free throws to halve the deficit and Terme Olimia immediately fouled Brandon Jefferson. He made the first free throw and missed the second one, but Olimpija grabbed an offensive rebound and Gregor Hrovat (196-G/F-94) was fouled. He made both foul shots to make it 83-78. Ashton Gibbs once again scored for the home team and then fouled Brandon Jefferson who hit a pair of free throws to secure the win for Olimpija.
Brandon Jefferson scored 20 points including five 3-pointers, Jure Pelko (190-G-90) poured in 17 points on shooting 5-of-5 from 3-point range, Nikola Jankovic (207-PF-94, agency: BeoBasket) added 17 points and Devin Oliver (204-SF-92, college: Dayton) had 11 points, 12 rebounds and 5 assists.
