Tilen Zalar
The games are now more important than at the beginning of the Regular Season. We may still expect few shocking results in upcoming 4 rounds.

The most shocking disappointment of round 18 was a home defeat of 5th ranked Konjice (9-9) by sixth ranked Plama Pur (10-8) who outscored them by 15 points 81-66. The guests were tied at the half but managed to speed up in last two quarters eventually winning the game. Plama Pur looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. 26 personal fouls committed by Konjice helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Guard Tilen Zalar (189-87) had a triple-double by scoring 11 points, 12 rebounds and 12 assists (went 7 for 7 at the free throw line) to lead the charge for the winners and swingman Anze Srebovt (196-91) chipped in 18 points and 8 rebounds during the contest. Plama Pur's coach used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The best for the losing side was swingman Kristjan Muzel (194-91) with a double-double by scoring 10 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists. Plama Pur moved-up to third place, which they share with Triglav and Grosuplje. Konjice lost fourth consecutive game. They dropped to the sixth position with nine games lost. They share it with Parklji. Plama Pur is looking forward to face league's second-placed Sezana at home in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Konjice will play against Elektra (#9) and is hoping to win this game.
Ninth-ranked Crnomelj (6-12) gave a tough game to second ranked Sezana (15-3). Sezana managed to secure only one-point victory 68-67. However their fans expected much easier game. Power forward Vito Furlan (198-90) notched a double-double by scoring 18 points, 11 rebounds and 4 blocks to lead the effort and Mirnes Husic supported him with 18 points and 5 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). Even a double-double of 15 points and 13 rebounds by guard Matic Lozar (183-92) did not help to save the game for Crnomelj. Sezana maintains second position with 15-3 record having just three points less than leader Ilirija. Crnomelj at the other side keeps the ninth place with 12 games lost. They share the position with Elektra. Sezana will play against Plama Pur (#5) in Ilirska Bistrica in the next round.
