Rogaska handed Union Olimpija their fourth straight loss, 77-75, in the game of Championship Stage Round 7. Rogaska together with Krka already clinched a play-off spot.

Union Olimpija-Rogaska 75-77: The game featured 17 lead changes and 7 ties. Rogaska went on an early 16-2 run for a 16-5 lead, the largest margin of the game. Olimpija re-take the lead at 18-17 and had their largest advantage of the night at 53-45 midway through the third quarter. Rogaska tied the score at 64-64 with seven minutes remaining and was ahead 77-73 with 15 second left. Olimpija's Mirko Mulalic (195-SG-88) was then fouled on a 3-point attempt. He missed the first free throw and made the other two to halve the deficit. Olimpija then fouled Taylor Johns (201-F, college: Cal-Riverside) who missed both free throws with two seconds left. Gregor Hrovat (196-G/F-94) grabbed a defensive rebound and missed a potential game-winning 3-point shot. Rogaska outrebounded Olimpija 36-26. Dee Davis (183-PG-93, college: Xavier) scored 23 points, Miha Fon (194-G-84) came off the bench for 14 points, Tadej Ferme (185-PG-91) netted 11 points and Taylor Johns 10. Olimpija used only six players and shot just 3-of-21 from 3-point range. Devin Oliver (204-SF-92, college: Dayton) finished with 33 points on shooting 12-of-19 from the field, Nikola Jankovic (207-PF-94) and Gregor Hrovat added 13 points apiece and Mirko Mulalic scored 10 points.

Hopsi-Krka 67-81: Hopsi used a 12-0 run to build a 19-11 lead and remained ahead until midway through the third quarter. Krka then sank five 3-pointers in a row to take a 62-48 lead. Ron Curry (191-G-93, college: JMU) made four threes in that 15-0 run and finished with 31 points on shooting 7-of-9 behind the arc, Marko Lukovic (207-SF-92) added 15 points, Sandi Cebular (195-G-86) 11 and Ziga Dimec grabbed 10 rebounds. Krka shot better from 3-point line (48-percent, 14-of-29) than from 2-point land (40-percent, 16-of-40) and outscored 43-26 in the second half. Jakob Cebasek (200-G/F-91) finished with 19 points and 10 rebounds for Hopsi, Dejan Cup (202-PF-83) and Alen Hodzic (192-SF-92) both posted 12 points.

Zlatorog-Helios Suns 74-67: After trailing by two midway through the opening quarter, Zlatorog scored dozen straight poins to ignite a 16-2 run for a 24-12 lead and never looked back from there. Helios cut the deficit to 49-50 and was two points down late in the third quarter. At that point, Jan Span (187-PG-92) scored six straight points and Roman Rubinshteyn (195-G-96) sank a 3-pointer that gave Zlatorog a 65-54 lead. Zlatorog shot just 2-of-19 behind the 3-point line. Igor Tratnik scored 22 points on shooting 11-of-15 from the field, Jan Span added 14 points, Matej Krusic (208-C-87) 12 and Nejc Baric (181-PG-97) 10. Helios was led by Tomaz Bolcina (208-C-94) who scored 23 points and was a rebound shy of a double-double, Urban Oman (98) netted 13 points without a miss, Simo Atanackovic (206-F-90) had 11 points and Luka Voncina (193-G-91, college: Charlotte) 10.

Bosnian national team member Nikola Gajic (195-G/F-91, college: SF Austin) has left Primorska to join Igokea. Gajic arrived to Primorska last summer and averged 10.9 points, 5.4 rebounds, 1.6 assists, 1.5 steals and 0.1 blocks over 26.7 minutes in 31 Slovenian League games last season. Hubo Limburg United (Euromillions League) added to their roster 23-year old American center Khaliq Spicer (206-104kg-94, college: Kent State, agency: Court Side). He played last season at Tajfun in Slovenian Liga Nova KBM. In 30 games he recorded 10.3ppg, 7.9rpg (#3 in the league) and 1.7bpg.
