Palma Air Europe will play in LEB Gold next season. They defeated Clinicas Rincon in the decisive fifth game of the championship series to clinch LEB Silver title. Ivan Matemalas (193-F-80) delivered 18 points and 6 boards to pace the winners. Palma ensured a quick start to the game. They reeled off to a 19:12 lead after the first quarter. Clinicas Rincon narrowed the gap in the second term. The hosts eventually erased the deficit and tied things up at 33 after twenty minutes. The teams traded baskets throughout the intense third quarter. Palma however saved more energy for the key minutes in the fourth quarter. The visitors exploded with 25 points in the final term and sealed the victory. Jason Blair (201-F/C-79, agency: SDJ Sports, college: San Diego) posted 16 points and 8 rebounds, while Robert Joseph (204-C-78, college: Union, TN) chipped in 11 points for the winners. Dejan Todorovic (F-94) answered with 19 points for Clinicas Rincon. Alberto Diaz (190-PG-94) had 13 points in the loss.
Guadalajara clinch LEB Silver Cup title - Feb 3, 2013

CEBA Guadalajara are the LEB Silver Cup winners. They held off Oviedo CB in the title game. Sergio Sergio Llorente (188-PG-90) stepped up with 22 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists for the winners. He was named the Final MVP after the game. Guadalajara started strong. They piled up a 20:14 lead after ten minutes. Guadalajara stretched the lead in the second quarter. They secured a 36:28 halftime advantage. Oviedo CB tuned in offensively in the third term. They poured in 26 points in the quarter and cut the margin at 4-point mark. But Guadalajara was not threatened as they stayed confident rolling to the victory in the fourth period. Jose Balmon (204-C-81) had 16 points and 11 boards, while Adrian Casas (195-F-89) totalled 13 points for the winning side. Victor Perez (193-G/F-82) answered with 24 points for Oviedo CB. Will Hanley (200-G/F-90, agency: Duran International, college: Bowdoin) provided 18 points and 8 rebounds in defeat.
