Perfumerias Avenida clinched the LFB title after a year pause. They swept the championship series against Rivas Ecopolis to retain the title they lost to Ros Casares last season. It was a dramatic clash with the title at stake. Rivas Ecopolis tried to leave a bitter home loss behind and started aggressively. The visitors posted a 19:10 lead after ten minutes of action. Rivas Ecopolis maintained the lead throughout the second quarter. Moreover the visitors piled up a 38:24 halftime advantage. Avenida stopped the rot in the third term. The hosts narrowed the deficit and trailed by just 10 points heading into the fourth stanza. The hosts used a 10:3 rally midway through the final frame to narrow the deficit at 2-point mark 57:59. Currie and Marta Xargay Casademont (181-PG-90, agency: Josep and Nicolas) put Avenida within one with just over a minute remaining 62:63. Olexandra Kurasova (186-F-86) drained a triple to give Rivas Ecopolis space for manoeuvre. However Salciute responded with a treble of her own to bring Avenida within one again 65:66. The teams exchanged misses before Le'Coe Willingham (183-C-81, agency: Josep and Nicolas, college: Auburn) got fouled with just two seconds remaining. She calmly sank both free throws and brought Avenida to the historic victory. Le'Coe Willingham, Marta Xargay Casademont and Egle Sulciute (190-PF-85) finished with 12 points each for the winners. Currie added 11 points for Avenida. Olexandra Kurasova answered with 17 points for Rivas Ecopolis. Anna Vadja (191-F/C-84, agency: Josep and Nicolas) netted 12 points in the loss.

Perfumerias Avenida win Spanish SuperCup to start the season with the trophy. The Copa de la Reina winners Perfumerias Avenida faced the Spanish leagues third placed Uni Girona and beat them 68:59. Uni Girona won the first period 17:15 and proved the ambitions for the upcoming season. They lost the second frame by three points and trailed 1 point at the halftime. Perfumerias Avenida however dominated the second half. They needed 17-13 in the third period and 21-17 in the last stanza to seal the victory. Roneeka Hodges (180-G-82, agency: Josep and Nicolas, college: Florida St.) top-scored for the winners with 19 points and was named MVP of the game. Egle Sulciute (190-PF-85) delivered 13, while Marta Xargay Casademont (180-G-90, agency: Josep and Nicolas) posted 11. Fernandez followed them with 10 points in a win. Jacinta Monroe (193-F/C-88, college: Florida St.) ended up with 16 points in the losing effort. Oumoul Sarr (185-F/C-84) notched 15, while Noemi Jordana (173-G-80) ended up with 11.

Rivas Ecopolis clinched the Copa de la Reina title. They overcame Perfumerias Avenida in the Final today. Aneika Henry (193-C-86, college: Florida) stepped up with 17 points and 11 rebounds for the winners to be named the MVP. The teams stayed close throughout the opening quarter. Honti capped it with a three-pointer to give Rivas Ecopolis a 19:16 lead. Xargay put Avenida in front 27:26 midway through the second quarter. The lead changed hands for several times before Moreno tied things up at 41 at the interval. Rivas Ecopolis went on a 13:3 rally at the start of the third quarter to take a 53:44 advantage. They entered the fourth frame up by 11 points 61:50. Erkic and Vadja opened a 16-point lead for Rivas Ecopolis midway through the final term and they never looked back en route to the win. Olexandra Kurasova (186-F-86) accounted for 15 points, while Anna Cruz (173-PG-86, agency: Josep and Nicolas) had 14 points for the winning side. Monique Currie (183-G/F-83, college: Duke) responded with 20 points for Perfumerias Avenida. Le'Coe Willingham (183-C-81, agency: Josep and Nicolas, college: Auburn) chipped in 10 points in the loss.
