Manresa - FIATC Joventut 71-59 The hosts trailed by 3 points after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 2-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 71-59. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Assignia Manresa made 12 blocks. 24 personal fouls committed by FIATC Joventut helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. American forward Justin Doellman (206-85, college: Xavier) fired 23 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Real Madrid has a very good season and are considered to have a run for the championship title. They improved their record to 9-1. In the team's last game Doncic had a remarkable 80.0% from 2-point range. It's his second year at Real Madrid and it's hard to imagine this team without him. Doncic has impressive league stats. He is in league's top in assists (8th best: 4.5apg) and averages solid 61.1% FGP and 45.8% from behind 3-point line.
Second best performed player last round was Giorgi Shermadini (217-C-89) of Andorra. He is Georgian center in his 2nd season at Andorra. In the last game Shermadini recorded impressive double-double of 21 points and 16 rebounds. Bad luck as Andorra was edged by the lower-ranked Estudiantes (#11, 4-6) 87-85. This loss caused Andorra to drop to 7th position in the standings. His team lost some distance to top teams. But 6-4 record is not bad and everything may still change. Shermadini is well-known at Andorra and he already established his position as one of the team's leaders. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 13.8ppg (#8). He also registered 7.6 boards per game.
Third place about best performers goes to swingman Deividas Dulkys (195-G/F-88) of Obradoiro (#12). Dulkys scored 24 points and passed four assists. He was a key player of Obradoiro, leading his team to a 80-67 easy win against the lower-ranked Joventut (#16, 3-8). The chances of Obradoiro not to end season at such low position in the league, however are less than slim as they have already lost 7 games, recording just four victories. With bigger assistance of his teammates, Dulkys could try to bring Obradoiro's a little bit higher in the standings. Dulkys has individually a great season in Spain. After only 8 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 13.9ppg (7th best). He also has FGP: 54.5% and 3PT: 48.1%.

But in 5 games he recorded just 1.6ppg and 2.2rpg. In 2006 he was drafted by Charlotte Bobcats (NBA) in second round (50th overall). The former Univ.of Calif.at Los Angeles staris in his eleventh (!!!) season in pro basketball. He also represented USA at the Panamerican Games in Toronto (Canada) last year. Hollins' team won Bronze and his stats at that event were 5 games: 3.4ppg, 2.2rpg. Baskonia Vitoria Gasteiz (Liga Endesa) signed experienced 39-year old Argentinian ex-international point guard Pablo Prigioni (190-84kg-77). It is actually his comeback to Vitoria as he has played here before. Prigioni is a dual citizen owning also Italian passport. He played last season at Houston Rockets in the NBA. In 41 games he had 3.1ppg, 1.4rpg, 2.6apg and 1.0spg in 2014-15 season. Prigioni helped them to win the Southwest Division title (twice) (also twice). The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others he was voted Eurobasket.com All-Olympic Games Honorable Mention back in 2012. Prigioni also represented Argentina at the Olympic Games in London (United Kingdon) four years ago. He has played on three different continents (Europe, Latin America and of course North America). Prigioni has played previously professionally in NBA (LA Clippers and New York Knicks), Spain (Real Madrid, Baloncesto Fuenlabrada and Meridiano Alicante) and Argentina (Obras Basket). He is close to retirement age as a player. It's very possible he may end his playing career at Baskonia. Prigioni could be described:
Very quick. Versatile guard, who can easily perform at 1 and 2 positions. So-so defense. Very good long distance shoot. Can score lots of points.
