The Turkish side finished second with 4-2 record. The Spanish team looked awesome in the start of the game and scored the first 8 points in the game. Penney closed the period from the perimeter at 25:12 and Leonardo Mainoldi (203-F-85) brought 27:15 early in the second. The quarter however was dominated by the home side that took 40:39 after Pops Mensah-Bonsu (206-F-83, agency: SportsTalent, college: G.Washington)s shot. Adam Morrison (203-SF-84, agency: Priority Sports, college: Gonzaga) and Pops Mensah-Bonsu increased to 57:44, but the hosts lost the game. Trailing 13 points in the start of the last stanza Fuenlabrada bounced back with a 9-0 run and Saul Blanco (195-G/F-85) reduced at 66:62. Another 8-0 run allowed the guests to tie the game at 74:74. Saul Blanco made the last four free throws in the game for the final result. Leonardo Mainoldi top-scored for the winners with 17 points and Saul Blanco collected 12 points and 11 boards. Mike Hall (203-F-84, agency: SportsTalent, college: G.Washington) produced 11, whilst Sergio Sanchez (190-PG-81) netted 10. Pops Mensah-Bonsu erupted with 24 points and 10 rebounds in defeat. Bizkaia Bilbao have secured the services of key players Roger Grimau (196-G-79, agency: INVICTUS Sports Group), Raul Lopez (183-PG-80) and Alex Mumbru (202-F-79) for the next season. Three players have agreed on terms of contract extensions.
