Second games of Liga Endesa Semifinals are completed. Valencia did a great job today celebrating 76-81 road victory against Regal Barca. The defending champ was better in the first meeting and the series is tied at 1-1 now. In the other Semis, Real Madrid handed 73-64 loss to Caja Laboral tying the score to 1-1. Third games are scheduled for Tuesday and Wednesday. Caja Laboral and Valencia will be the hosts. They will host also Game Four on May 31/June 1. The Semifinals format is best-of-five.

Regal FC Barcelona was tied after three quarters but could not keep up in the last quarter eventually losing the game. International guard Rafael Martinez (191-82) scored 18 points and 4 assists to lead the charge for the winners and French guard Nando De Colo (202-87) chipped in 16 points and 5 assists during the contest. Four Valencia Basket players scored in double figures. Brazilian-Italian point guard Marcelinho Huertas (191-83, agency: Edge Sports) responded with 17 points and 8 assists and Senegalese center Boniface Ndong (213-77) scored 11 points and 7 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game.

Caja Laboral was tied at the half but could not keep up in last two quarters eventually losing the game. Caja Laboral was plagued by 26 personal fouls down the stretch. International point guard Sergio Llull (190-87) notched 16 points and 4 assists to lead the effort and Serbian forward Novica Velickovic (205-86) supported him with 16 points and 5 rebounds. Real Madrid's coach Pablo Laso allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Even 16 points and 7 rebounds by Serbian power forward Nemanja Bjelica (209-88, agency: Interperformances) did not help to save the game for Caja Laboral. Bosnian forward Mirza Teletovic (206-85, agency: Beo Basket) added 16 points for the guests. Four Caja Laboral players scored in double figures.
