Gran Canaria announced signing of a 2-year contract extension with Spencer Nelson (203-F-80, college: Utah St.). It means than Nelson will stay with the club until the end of 2013/14 season and they already spent last two together. The American forward had 9.8 ppg, 4.7 rpg and 2.2 apg for 29 games in 2011/12 Liga Endesa. In EuroCup he added 9.6 ppg and 5.6 rpg for 8 appearances. The player had lower numbers in 2010/11. Two years ago Nelson received Azerbaijani passport, so he plays in Granca as Bosman. Before Granca, Spencer Nelson was a member of Peristeri, Aris, Upim Bologna and Benetton. He also played for Bamberg in the past. Nelson is a product of the Utah State University, where he graduated in 2005. He played for Azerbaijani NT over the past two years.

Unicaja Malaga continue to make changes. After parting ways with head coach Jasmin Repesa the Malaga team has reportedly split ways with Krunoslav Simon (197-G/F-85, agency: Beo Basket) and Kosta Perovic (217-C-85).

His stats read 3.3 points and 2.2 boards per game in EuroLeague. In ACB the centre had 3.7 points and 2.0 rebounds per appearance. Kosta Perovic previously played in NBA, Serbia, Spain. He has been the member of the Serbian National Team since 2008.
