ALBA Berlin completed its roster for the upcoming season. The former German champion penned a deal with Spanish center Albert Miralles (208-C-82, agency: Interperformances). He spent last season with Angelico Biella averaging 10.8 points and 6.9 rebounds for 32 games. Before Biella, Miralles played two years for Lagun Aro GBC. In 2010/11, the player registered 8.3 ppg and 6.1 rpg in 34 appearances. He had almost the same numbers in their first season together. From 2005 to 2009, Albert Miralles was a member of Pamesa Valencia. They reached ULEB Cup Final Fight four years ago. In the past, the center played for Cantu, Roseto, Rimini, Kinder Bologna and Joventut. ALBA Berlin got the wildcard for Euroleague regular season. They are placed to Group B.

He just recently signed at FCB Regal, being already a very valuable addition to the team. Brad Oleson averages this season 9.7ppg.
The second best player in last round's games was young Brazilian Raul Neto (186-PG-92) of Lagun Aro GBC. Neto had a very good evening with 25 points and 6 assists. Bad luck as Lagun Aro GBC was edged by the higher-ranked FCB Regal (#3, 23-11) 90-89. Lagun Aro GBC is still in a red zone at 17th spot in Round 33. 26 lost games are too many comparing to just eight victories Lagun Aro GBC managed to get this year. Neto is well-known at Lagun Aro GBC and is a proven leader in his second season with the team.
Third on the list of top players last round was forward Nacho Martin (205-F-83) of Blancos de R. (#16). Martin scored 19 points and grabbed ten rebounds. Despite Martin's great performance Blancos de R. lost 62-78 to the higher-ranked G.Canaria 2014 (#7, 19-15). But his team cannot count on just a single player as he also needs help of the other teammates. The chances of Blancos de R. not to end season at such low position in , however are less than slim as they have already lost 22 games, recording just twelve victories. However their fans expected much easier game. Lagun Aro GBC was ahead by 4 points after three quarters before a 24-19 charge of Regal FC Barcelona, which allowed them to win the game. They made 20-of-22 charity shots (90.9 percent) during the game. Regal FC Barcelona outrebounded Lagun Aro GBC 33-18 including 25 on the defensive glass. Unicaja Malaga (ACB) is close to sign 24-year old Lithuanian international forward Mindaugas Kuzminskas (205-98kg-89) who currently plays B.C. Zalgiris Kaunas in Lithuania. He also played 20 games in VTB United League where he averaged 8.9ppg and 4.0rpg. The last season Kuzminskas played also at Zalgiris (LKL) in Lithuanian league. The team played in four different competitions (!!!) that year, and he had a chance to explore basketball on different levels. In 23 LKL games he averaged 7.8ppg and 3.2rpg. He contributed to his team winning the cup and end the regular season at the top position. Kuzminskas also played 11 games in Euroleague where he averaged 3.0ppg and 1.5rpg. He also played 4 games in Baltic League where he averaged 7.8ppg and 2.0rpg. And finally Kuzminskas played 14 games in VTB United League where he averaged 6.8ppg and 2.9rpg. He contributed to his team making it to the quarterfinals. Among other achievements Kuzminskas received Eurobasket.com All-Lithuanian LKL Player of the Year award and Eurobasket.com All-Lithuanian LKL Domestic Player of the Year award back in 2010. He was also a member of Lithuanian international program for some years. Kuzminskas played for Lithuanian Senior National Team two years ago and previously for U18 National Team in 2007. He represented Lithuania at the European Championships U20 in Rhodos (Greece) four years ago. His stats at that event were 9 games: 9.9ppg, 5.2rpg, 1.6spg, 1.2bpg, FGP: 53.4%, 3PT: 13.3%, FT: 78.9%. Kuzminskas has played previously professionally in Italy and Lithuania (Siauliai, Sakalai, Zemaitis Raseiniai and Perlas).
