The Regular Season in LFB just started. The round was rather attractive and full of interesting results.

Rivas Ecopolis - Caja Rural 95-72
The game without a history. Rivas Ecopolis led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They made 16-of-19 free shots (84.2 percent) during the game. Swingman Queralt Casas (180-G/F-92) fired 22 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. International point guard Anna Cruz (173-86, agency: Josep and Nicolas) chipped in 16 points. Five Rivas Ecopolis players scored in double figures. American forward Amy Denson (186-84, college: Arizona St., agency: Regeneracom Sports) produced 22 points and 7 rebounds and Finnish center Taru Tuukkanen (190-77, college: Xavier, agency: Regeneracom Sports) added 14 points respectively for lost side.

Worth to mention a great performance of American power forward Jacinta Monroe (193-88, college: Florida St.) who helped to win the game recording 16 points and 5 rebounds. Senegalese power forward Oumoul Sarr (185-84) contributed with 12 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. American center LaNedra Brown (188-81, college: Seton Hall) answered with 16 points and 7 rebounds and guard Roso Buch (179-92) added 12 points in the effort for Socinsa Bembibre. The guests were tied at the half but managed to speed up in last two quarters eventually winning the game. Navarra Pamplona dominated on the defensive end, holding Conquero to just 6 points in third quarter. Latvian power forward Aija Putnina (192-88, agency: Josep and Nicolas) stepped up and scored 26 points and 7 rebounds for the winners and international power forward Laura Herrera (190-89, agency: Josep and Nicolas) chipped in 16 points and 5 rebounds (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field). At the losing side power forward Itziar German (184-86) responded with 18 points and 7 rebounds and Cameroonian forward Amina Njonkou (185-88, college: Arizona) produced a double-double by scoring 12 points, 10 rebounds and 6 assists. Conquero's coach Gabriel Carrasco gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win.

Hibernians (Women League) agreed terms with 24-year old American center Rachel Kehoe (192-93, college: E.Michigan, agency: Gamble Sports Management). She played last season at Unio Esportiva Mataro in Spanish Liga Catalana. She was also voted Eurobasket.com All-Mediterranean Cup 1st Team in 2017.
