Arxil Pontev. - Cortegada 34-77
The game without a history. Cortegada led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Arxil Pontevedra to just 5 points in second quarter. Cortegada held Arxil Pontevedra to an opponent 24.0 percent shooting from the field compared to 45.2 percent accuracy of the winners. It was a great shooting night for Cortegada especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 55.6 percentage. Senegalese center Amy Syll (195-93) stepped up and scored 12 points and 8 rebounds for the winners and power forward Andrea Rios (187-91) chipped in 9 points and 7 rebounds. At the losing side Canadian center Zara Huntley (188-89) responded with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 12 rebounds and power forward Ana Martin (178-82) scored 8 points.

The game without a history. Universitario de Ferrol led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding ADBA to just 4 points in second quarter and to 12 points in first half. Universitario de Ferrol dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of its points in the paint compared to ADBA's 26. Universitario de Ferrol forced 20 ADBA turnovers and outrebounded them 51-28 including a 40-19 advantage in defensive rebounds. Worth to mention a great performance of American guard Olivia Lett (182-90, college: Illinois Wesleyan) who helped to win the game recording 26 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Center Gema Pazos (189-92) contributed with 16 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. Senegalese Ndeye Aminata Seck (-90) answered with a double-double by scoring 25 points and 10 rebounds and forward Anna Boleda (181-81) added 18 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for ADBA.

The guests trailed by 3 points after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 10-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 62-47. Aros Leon dominated on the defensive end, holding Pabellon Ourense to just 6 points in second quarter. Point guard Lucia Pablos (172-85, college: Northeastern, agency: Josep and Nicolas) nailed 27 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists for the winning side and Dutch guard Tanya Broering (178-84) accounted for 17 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists. Power forward Nerea Moreno (185-88) chipped in 9 points and 8 rebounds. Gernika's coach Mario Lopez allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game.
